Ugh, Embiid in town. Here comes Javale, remember him?

Hopefully this is the start of a run of games where it doesn't feel like they're playing with an hot potato.

Schedule gift, they are playing frustrated Heat team looking to bounce back, I hope they take advantage.

If the Mavs lose this one, Kyrie will call a players-only practice and shut out Kidd the same way he drove Steve Nash out of Brooklyn. Kidd better shape up and starting doing things that make sense. Luka doesn't have the cajones to call a players-only meeting but Kyrie wont have the same patience for Kidd's audience watching arse.

I don't think it's cajones problem, he never backs down and stands up to everyone, but he does lack leadership skills, he's too emotional, as much as I **** on Kidd, he did warn about how Brunson will be missed in the locker room.

If Kyrie helps to fire Kidd then the trade was the best ever.

Last year the home against the Sixers was special, it was 5 days before the deadlines, Mavs were w/o KP and Sixers w/o Simmons, Bullock had a great game, Luka had 2 crazy dunks, and Brunson had a good game, most importantly, the team held the Sixers below 100 points without recording a single blocked shot.

Joel Embiid (left foot soreness) has been downgraded to out for Wednesday's matchup with Miami.

Embiid is consistently listed as questionable, and he usually makes his decision after going through warmups. Generally, he has played through the injury, but he'll miss Wednesday's game.

But seriously, Im expecting some big numbers from Kyrie this game. He hasn't really had a big game and he's due for one, and two, I'm sure he's heard James Harden chirping about how he's the problem in BKN so pretty sure it's extra motivation.

Last year, the 1st game between Brooklyn and Sixers after the trade, was intense, Brooklyn blew out the Sixers and KD/Kyrie were pretty physical with Harden.
