The show rolls on to San Antonio.

The Spurs have won some games lately, so would be a slight surprise to see a win here.

if Mavs are still serious of making playoffs they will play both Luka and Kyrie. If not, maybe the best decision is to lose all the games and hope for some luck in lottery.

Spurs getting healthier lately and they beat Denver. So nothing is easy.

I hope Mavs can bring a W for all the homers in this game.

No Luka.

THJ, Wood, Kyrie all questionable. Mavs doing a perfect tanking job late in the season.

Still no Luka...that's weird...i get you're trying to be carefull, but you overplayed him the entire year(even when you didn't have to) and now when every win counts (a lot) you sit him...either they think they'll get in playoffs and try to surprise People there or they've given up on this season(which based on Kidd's comments is more likely)

Mavs could certainly lock in a top 10 pick and not owe it to the Knicks this year.

Would need help from the Bulls or Raptors and then it’s a little easier for OKC, Jazz, Lakers, and Pelicans to surpass us.

Then it’s a matter of no one jumping us in the lottery and knocking us to 11. I don’t see anyone outside of VW, Miller, and Henderson helping us next year.

Luka played a lot of game injuried, that was a stupid move by Kidd and FO because Kyrie leaded the team very well without Luka and because he aggraveted his injury so now he miss crucial games. Damn.

No luka and Kyrie, easy L. I don't think they're tanking, no pick this year.
Do you want to get swept in the first round and watch Kyrie leave or fight hard and maybe advance and lose in the 2nd round and Kyrie sign?

The 23 FRP is top 10 protected so technically we can still get our pick if we get lucky in the lottery should we miss the playoffs.

As to the question, I just want to win. Regardless of what seed we are, we're a threat when we have both Luka AND Kyrie on the team. If our streaky shooters just hit their shots, anything is possible.

I didn't know it's top-10 protected.
To answer my own question, I also want to win, I think we have a good chance against anyone except Denver. Memphis are a mess, they're very good at rebounding (and we're worst) but we can overcome that. Suns with their grandpas and Devin Chicken don't scare me.

Luka overplayed himself. He wants the stats.

I know that you don't like advanced stats, but I believe you need to look at them before making some statements. ;)

Situation before the trade, Luka had 118.7 offensive rating on court and 106.5 off court. And he had 115 defensive rating on court and 112.8 off court. That brought him +10 net rating. Dinwiddie, as the only other Pg, had -7.1 net rating. That should explain to you, why he had to be on court that much, if Mavs wanted to win against anyone. Mavs had 0 chances without him on the court, he basically kept Mavs alive alone before the trade line.

Luka statpadder, Luka the new WB. Gosh, I get the frustration by how bad this season has been so far but ehi these days too many bad takes on this board.

Luka is playing his far the best RS, but because he didn't click immediately with Kyrie, people are bashing him. Do they really think that he can overnight become good off ball player? Kyrie didn't have problems to adapt because he's playing exactly the same as before, on the other hand Luka is in totally new situation. And even with those problems this trade would have worked out great, if Mavs have had at least decent defensive C. How FO believed that they can pair Luka and Kyrie and don't address holes in D is just mind boggling.
