RS 22/23 - Mavs @ Hornets (Sund, 1PM EST)

I'd love it for the Mavs to announce that Luka is nursing his injury and Kyrie is out for the season with foot issues. Give Hardy 40 minute a night from here on out and let's roll in a last gap tank to lose the rest of the way. Unfortunately, that isn't happening.

And since ejs78 is not attending this game, this is a guaranteed W (seriously, it's guaranteed! If the Mavs don't win this one, I'll use a Rondo avatar until the season ends).

Let my reverse jinx magic begin.

Mavs lose to Hornets one time, we can do it again!

Hornets by 6.

My birthday tomorrow, and will be out for dinner, so I won't watch the game, the 2nd half at least, I hope they tank or make Kidd a scapegoat and let him go to light some fire under team's butts, but neither will happen, they may still lose, but not because they tanked.

What personal life issues does Luka have? Anyone aware of anything? Wiretap seems to suggest that - I mean at the end of the day these guys are also just humans.

For such an emotional guy, he's very secretive about his life, and even his displeasures with the team in general, they had massive differences , him and RC, and he never talked about it in press conferences and rebuffed question about that.

He sued his mom recently. They have legal problems.

Mavs are 1-8 this year when THJ doesn't play. The real MVP of the team 8-)

Shutdown the season now. The Mavs is currently 11 in draft and could easily reach top 5.

I want them to get Zach Edey and he is only showing up later in the 2nd on most mock drafts but his scoring and rebounding from the 5 is exactly what we need. If we can add his 7'4" 290 pound muscle then we can improve our greatest weakness and still have a chance to add a veteran big as well. A nice pair of centers is what we need so that eveyone else can rely on them to protect the rim. Now we won't need to tank to snag him so I say win it all this year if you can. No need to tank at all and we get another keeper in the 2nd that way. We snagged Hardy in the 2nd so we seem to have a feel for 2nd rounders and should keep that track record going.

Edey feels like Boban 2.0 to me right now. He would’ve fit well with the pace we played this year (pre Kyrie).

He would definitely be worth taking a flier on in the second round.

If Luka has this attitude he can stay on the bench... With Powell who is horrible tonight too. Thanks.

Powell blowing layups, no real energy around the rim, no urgency.... At least no one is dying. Let's see if Kidd can wake them up.
