- Luka may be out, I say "may be" because that tech looked quite soft and may be rescinded?
- Kyrie either is playing through an injury or making a business decision not to get hurt?

Hate to say it but it's a must L game.
And yes, they should shut down both Luka and Kyrie, these two humiliating L in a row against a bottom team were the nails in the coffin of our postseason hopes.

Maybe Kidd heard you. Get ready for some increased Holiday minutes. Our new go to guy

I hope we lose out at this point. Bottom-9 spot is a must (because Mavs always drop at least one spot).

Luka is suspended for this game?
Saves him from trash talking Carlisle and end up losing. That's more embarassing if you run your mouth then you lose. Makes you look more of an idiot than Patrick Beverly TBH.

MacMahon on the HoopCollective today basically said the players aren't listening to Kidd.

Kidd is far from blameless, but Luka has some culpability here too. 5 years about to get another coach ousted.

Correct Luka gets a decent chunk of blame for this season.
I liked Rick, but it was time to go and Kidd should have never been hired. People can pin this on Luka, but I dont see him being the issue for the coaching turnover.

Luka had his tech taken back.
Odds are he wont be able to SFTU and he'll get another in the next game or so.

Nooooo!
Maybe Cuban will file a petition to have the tech reinstated?

Why, Luka and Kyrie are great tank commanders? Problem is that Pacers are in tank war too.

Here we go. The most likely outcome is: Win a game or three. Miss play in. Miss playoffs. Give up draft pick.
Instead of just for once doing the right move: shut them down. Let Hardy play and learn. Think about the offseason.

Exactly.
I fully expect them to bungle this.

Watching Pacers injury report, they will do everything to lose the game anyway. Luka&Kyrie together with Kidd's great coaching is the best chance for Mavs to lose.

I am in minority here, i actually want them to win and get in to the playoffs

For some reason i think they can wake up and get motivated, they just need something to fire them up. By some major luck maybe even get to the 2nd round. I know the debate about possible high draft picks makes sense, but still....
Or maybe i'm just hopeless optimist.

You're probably right, it's not innocent to see this list of questionable players.
The Mavericks are also heavily favoured by bookmakers (not that this means much, but if the Pacers were playing everyone, the odds would be closer).

It's mind boggling. They couldn't get up to play the Hornets.
TWICE.
Think about the future. Ensure you keep the pick now.
Luka said he hasn't been feeling good and it showed in the first half yesterday. Kyrie apparently "is playing through injury". There are excuses to play it safe here and think ahead. For once they could make the edgy decision and be smart, but nah...
It'll be quite an experience, watching Luka/Kyrie and many hoping for losses, while at the same time being upset if they lose games as a tandem.

Well, if the Mavs somehow manage to make the playoffs, that means they went on some kind of good run... which will make fans feel a lot more optimistic by then.
But since we've seen how much of a struggle it has been to actually have Luka/Kyrie both healthy and fit and also how they've been dominated by bigger and more athletic teams... it's very unlikely that they win enough to make the play in.
If I had to select an option. My pick would be obvious. Since we are just fans and don't make those decisions, we can only watch and we just have to make sure we try to enjoy the games --- easier to enjoy a game if you're going for wins.
The thing is, even if the Mavs o finish the season well and make the play in, they really can't compete for a title, so I just feel it'd be better to think ahead right now.
It'd beyond embarrassing if they play Luka vs Pacers and still lose.
