I want Mavs to win all the games in the rest of regular season, and get destroyed in the plan in.

That way they will understand how dumb their current clueless direction is.

You can wish whatever you want. But wishing your own team loses a playoff game is a bit ridiculous and kind of childish. Moreover, most Mavs fans won't understand that mindset, so best to keep those ideas to yourself.

No one has to disappear. You can simply skip them.

Sounds like the Bulls will rest their players. Vuc might play though. They have the 10th spot locked in and by losing they get a higher pick than us. And needless to say: That is the 10th pick.

I hope OKC either loses tonight, giving us a path to the play in, or win by 50+ or something to make a statement. OKC-Jazz is our game of the year  .

It feels like we are destined for the 11th spot and no play in.

Why would Bulls get 10th pick if they lose this game while they're in the play in already?

I haven't paid attention on their draft pick situation. Anyone please explain?

My assumption is that if a play-in team does not qualify for the playoffs (Chi either loses against the 9th seed or the loser of 7th vs 8th), the odds and position for the draft is not affected. I gather as much from this source: https://www.bulletsforever.com/2021/5/6/22422509/washington-wizards-nba-play-in-tournament-draft-consequences-explained

I'd love to stand corrected.

I think that's correct. If the Bulls fail to make the playoffs as the 8th seed, then they're in the lottery and ranked based on their regular-season record. The Mavs are in danger of missing the play-in AND losing out on their draft pick this year. Mavs may be better off losing this game to the Bulls.

Jazz aren't putting up much resistance against OKC, and Memphis might have nothing to play for when they play OKC in their last game. So expect OKC to win their last 2 games.

That said, it's possible that the Mavs and Bulls will finish with the same record, and their draft position would then be decided by a coin toss.

And all this is why the Mavs need to hang two straight Ls. Can't risk a coin flip

OKC winning tonight. And they will make the play in.

Mavs miss play in but beat the short handed bulls.

Mavs hand their pick to Knicks.

Who thinks all of the above will happen? I do.

From watching this I don't think OKC cares enough

OKC is a young talented team. They deserve to make the play in. Their young players are so good.
