RS 22/23 - Mavs vs Spurs (Sund, 3:30PM EST)

Season finale.

Really difficult season. All year... no identity. No consistency. No rythmn. Maxi and DFS out. They get new guys like Wood and McGee... but then don't play them as you'd have expected. Luka missing games at the worst time.

Bizarrely they lose all ability not only to defend... but to actually grab rebounds. Puzzling.

This is an old pic, from a previous tank attempt. I can't recall the season, probably 18-19.

I don't know who was a better tank commander, Kidd or Cuban. They were both extra bad this season. If they hired Nico, let him do his job, don't become Vivek 2.0, Mark. And Kidd has to either go or learn how to make any game adjustments that actually make sense.

6-7 months without Mavs basketball... Damn, that will be a long period.

Isn't Slovenia playing a tournament?

There will be no Mavs basketball, but there will be plenty of intrigue with the draft lottery and free agency/kyrie.

Spurs are trying to lose this one as well. So it will be funny as hell watching two teams trying to miss shots on purpose. LOL

Mavs are better off instructing all 5 players to stand behind and not run back on defense so Spurs can get an early lead.

Yeah, there is a FIBA tournament in August but i kinda don't care that much. We have a team that i am not exactly keen on watching. And a coach that, i dare to say, is simply not capable of coaching a team at the highest level.

But you're right. Draft and free agency will be exciting to watch, i'll just keep my expectations extra low this year in order to avoid being completely dissapointed lol.

I really hope Luka goes on Keto and take up iron man these 6 months, FIBA WC is as insignificant as it gets.

Read somewhere the odds are 65% to get the 10th pick and like 13% to get into the top 4. Might as well get that L since we're on this train now.

Knicks can get the next pick after this one. That pick is probably still in the 12th grade and should be the next phenom in NYC. LMAO :lol:
