Kyrie's pinky fingernail is improving and he'll be back for this game.

Hopefully we get a healthy Kyrie and Luka to keep building the on-court chemistry and keep the undefeated streak going.

Yep. Bulls are unpredictable. They look weak but at the same time they can win anything with Lavine or DDR going off. But luckily this Mavs team is giving me slightly more confidence on defense than last season team which was horrible.

Mavs is going good and this is a really refreshing start!

Its a favorable schedule and I really like it for this team. The team really needs some wins and build confidence.

This team does not need Kyrie much.
Strong defense and rebounding is enough with Luka's offensive genius.

Extra scoring punch is nice but at this point giving Kyrie 20 shots is just taking other efficient shots created by Luka. We probably dont need Kyrie for Bulls game. So let him heal.

It’s enough when he’s shooting 50 percent from 3. But Luka will be the 1st person to tell you that he needs Kyrie and the team needs Kyrie.

The Bulls basically only have 3 dudes scoring the ball and are 24th in points because of it.

The rotation of Williams/DJJ/Green on Lavine and DeRozan is going to be important.

Hopefully Lively can have a bounce back game against Vucevic.

I’m really going Friday will be a battle between the 2 undefeated teams in the west.

Derozan always has his way with us, it sucks. Hopefully they keep Grant locked on him all night and Lavine stays cold.

Kyrie is always needed, if for nothing else, to attract defenders away from Luka and/or create more open looks for the wings

Hopefully this is a W. Lavine and DDR can go off at any point, and if Lively gets into foul trouble Vuc could be a problem. But the Mavs need to take every game seriously and hopefully come out strong.

2 of the most embarrassing games in the whole NBA last year were Mavs/Bulls, 1st game was 2nd night of a B2B and required a travel, Luka was rested, the Bulls mopped the floor with the Mavs, 2nd one was the infamous "bench every player if he scores" to secure the 10th overall...

We will see who is the next Mavs "career high" guy after the miracles by Powell and DJJ.

Is Pinson still on the team? Frank?

We have different definitions of embarrassing, my friend. That 2nd game was fantastic and fans would have been calling for Nico's head if we ended up giving up the 11th pick because of a stupid meaningless win against the Bulls.

That would mean no Lively, no OMax, (likely) another year of Bertans, and probably Cason Wallace to the Knicks. I couldnt handle that.

Yeah the outcome was good, but the Mavs still had to ride out that embarrassment
Psychotic. It didn’t make sense. I don’t know how you make it make sense

I wanted them to tank after OKC beat Utah, but still, it was an embarrassment to the league, Mavs went into an unexpected lead, and had to bench Hardy and Bertans to ensure losing...

I believe in Luka’s ability to beat the bulls. And even if we lose it’s not like the season is over. I just want Kyrie healthy for Friday and the rest of the season.

I hope you understand how bad this looks. First mystery injury in preseason and now another "injury" and between Kyrie looked totally disinterested and bad. This's not load management, he played only 3 games in 1 months, this's simply Kyrie as we now in last few years.

I just dont think doing the right thing for the franchise should ever be labeled as embarrassing. The only reason the Mavs doing it is so looked down upon is because Cuban couldnt keep his fat mouth shut and openly admitted what we were doing. If anyone should be embarrassed, its the Bulls for allowing Bertans and Hardy to son them at all.

I hope you understand how paranoid you sound. Injuries happen, I’m not 31 yet, but we’ll all know stuff doesn’t heal as fast as when you’re 18. And when you’re playing a sport for hours everyday tweaks and pain happen. You rest, you tweak it again. And then you need to rest it more. The injury in preseason is most likely related to the injury now. This secrecy about injuries you’re complaining about happens all throughout sports. Teams don’t want to tell us or their opponents the truth most of the time.

I don’t know why we’re confusing bad shooting nights with disinterest, but you do you.

Also you’ve only seen him play 3 games. But if you’ve played sports before then you know he’s been practicing everyday for months. So yeah taking precautions with a 31 year old start in the month of October makes sense.
