Jazz is in tank mode. Easy win for us.

He has some value, we can trade him well at the TDL... It's not a great problem.

I don't know how much value he has, and it's hard to trade player on rookie extention because of cap rules.

It was easy to see form the get go he's not a good player. He does not have one iota of bbqiq or a work ethic to get better. He was a terrible pick at 18 and the extension just compounded the problem.

You shouldve hated it even from the jump. Overpaying these aging role players is how the Mavs became such a mess throughout the 2010s in the first place. Mavs wouldve been better off just cutting Maxi than buying out Javale.

I hated Maxi exention from the jump, but Maxi has contributed before and sae it as a payback, I'm talking about Green extension, he was amazing for 15 games last year, but injured for Decembet and disappeared after the trade, now he started aweful, and is injured again, they should've asked him to prove it.

I think "amazing" is way too strong of a word to use to describe Green at any point during his pro career. He's always been decent at best, but I said it all along that he was only valuable as a trade asset because of his rookie contract. The fact that they gave him full MLE money despite being our 7th(?) best player is just gross and irresponsible. I really hope they can find a trade for him in-season, but unfortunately I think they are stuck with him and forced to play him and hope that he can figure it out. Not a great situation.

He had a stretch before his elbow injury against the Bucks he was the 2nd best player on the team, and before Luka came back from Pels injury also he had few games where he looked like legit 2nd PG, we were talking where he'd fall in redraft and said he'd be top 10.
He's nowhere near that sadly today.

Agree with Pres, to me he was never amazing. He did have a nice stretch at that period, but I think we now can say it was to get the extension contract. He sucked his rookie year, was JAG year 2, and showed certain flashes last year. Now he's back to being JAG if not a bum.

Lets find out how Luka and Exum can do playing together . Exum loves to push the pace and Luka is doing so much better buying into a faster pace offense.
Luka 6'7" ,Dante 6'5",DJJ6'6", start O-Max too 6'7" ,Lively 7'1" starting just might look good together.

Doesnt feel great shooting-wise.
Mavs struggle when its an off night of DJJ. Exum is not a good shooter. O-Max being a rookie etc.
Should be enough against Jazz though. They dont seem great this year.

Agree.

If Exum can shoots 35% from 3 then he can play 20/25 minutes per game... Otherwise, if he continue to makes just 20% of his 3s he can't play too much minutes unfortunately.

OMax is unplayable on offense right now, he must develop at least DJJ level 3 pt shot.
