Do you remember when games against the Hawks used to have some special meaning?

That feels like ancient times ago.

Trae Young missed a game last night. It's a battle of two struggling teams.

Fingers crossed that the Hawks just completely obliterate us. Im hopeful for anything that triggers a trade and/or coaching change at this point.

This team is an embarrassment.

I guess Atlanta doesn't have scorers with height and size. So hoping Exum-Green-DJJ can stay with their guards.

DJJ-Grant duo only worked for like 15 games. Can't blame them as DJJ is on vet. min. contract and Grant is MLE.
Need an improvement there for sure.

When those two played like starters, this team was looking better for sure. A coach change is probably not enough. Trade is required at this point.

You have aging Kyrie, and Luka's frustration is at all-time high. Better make some moves before going for the rebuilding route.

I hope that great coach Kidd will tell Luka how to expose Capela.

Another ugly loss on the way against an average Eastern team.

Mavs by 32. Now that Kidd is threatened they will absolutely crush the Hawks to shut down the coaching change conversation for another week... as usual.

Agree.
If Kyrie come back it's a W, unfortunately we are too good to make a long bad run and blow out Kidd head.

I want to see JJ, he looks pretty good lately, what a pick by Atlanta. Jesus.

Trae is in concussion protocol and missed the last 2 games. Questionable for tonight's game.

That means you guys have like an 89% chance to win. The Mavs wet the bed when the opposing team's best player doesnt play. Its almost a virtual lock

 .
I'd have more faith in that assumption if the Hawks have played well at home and hey didn't come off a brutal schedule this past week with this being game #5 which included a west coast trip and having to play Garrison, Trent and Patty big minutes - who you ask? Exactly.

So Lively and Holmes are our only bigs.

Quick, sign Dwight Howard to a 10 day contract.

I recommend kidd, don't let Holmes play because there is a risk that it will turn out that he is no worse than your beloved Powell and Kleber

The HoopCollective Podcast went into Lukas temper tantrum on today's show. Like the hosts or not it was funny to hear Windhorst say he can't even watch Luka play due to his constant complaining. Hope more of the national media starts to echo this so it might finally dawn on him to stop acting like a .

Feels like Mavs suddenly have the worst whistle in the league. Every touch is a foul in favor of opposing team.

We all want him to stop complaining, play the game...a lot of this calls he's not getting just because he complains so much...the refs simply swallow the whistle cause they're tired of him,it's not fair but it is what it is(you make your own bed)...the thing that pisses me of is that some teams(Lakers,Celtics ,Sixers) get a lot of soft calls...Embild is a big ,strong dude, yet he gets the softest calls of everybody...many times he bumps into the defender,or even pushes him with his arm,and the defender is called for a foul...meanwhile Jokić rarely gets calls ,even though they're playing him way more physical than Embild
