Wolves again. Ughhh.

Image

Another look at superstart Naz Reid and 40 minutes of Edwards constantly screaming every time he drives to the basket

Someone fill me in on the injuries. I gave up trying to know what issue these guys have.

Going to be a gross outing. My only hope is that its decided quick so that our moron HC wont play Luka 45 minutes in a January game.

Doncic averaged 48.7 points and 13.0 assists in the three games over four nights, accounting for 79.7 points per game. According to ESPN Stats & Information research, only Wilt Chamberlain has generated more points in a three-game span in NBA history, accounting for averages of 82 and 81 points in overlapping three-game runs in 1962.

Kidd statement after the game - "Write that down and run it again!"

Good call on resting everyone, next game is Saturday, hopefully everyone is healthy and rested.
Hardy/2-way PG
Green/Curry
THJ/AJ Lawson
OMax/Maxi
Powell/Holmes

Run like hell, and let it fly, hopefully, keep it within 30 pt.

Lively broken nose?

Good news for Kidd... so his seat is sure until end of season for sure. What a lucky guy.

There's an idea, just quit. Let your millionaires who get months off during the summer have more time to chill

Yeah i don't get it anymore. I mean sure, if you have an easy 50-55 team that can just coast through the season and get into the playoffs without much effort, whatever, rest some people from time to time. But if you have a team that is crawling its way to the playoffs than it becomes a different story.

For the past few years i don't understand how this team can regularly get injured so often. You basically expect each game for someone to get injured. I am at the point where i would just say, i don't care anymore who you draft/sign/trade for, just get me players that can stay on the floor. I seriously can't comprehend how many issues they had over the past few years simply due to injuries.

Yea agree completely. Trading for Kyrie compounded it because that guy is always out. Everyone and their third cousin knew Exum cant stay on the floor. Its like they purposely target these players so they can use their injuries as an excuse as to why the seaosn was a failure. Oh if we were healthy, we would have made some noise type garbage

Injuries are a female dog, and with this team, it's the major problem, but given the following:
1. Kyrie is still hurt
2. Lively got whacked on the nose
3. Luka has carried enormous load, he shouldn't have carried it
4. Many player either got extended rest (Maxi, Josh), and others didn't play a lot (Seth, Hardy, Holmes)
5. The 2-way players and OMax have barely played.

And given this game is tough, and has 3 days rest after it.
Resting is the right call, if Kyrie is still out on Saturday, it should ring alarm bells.

The guy who was supposed to give rest to Luka/Irving has already missed 15 (and counting) games... We have a big problem.

Yeah, the short period of Luka and healthy Exum, team still looked good.

The Mavs really need to overhaul their fitness coaching team and physio staff...the amount of injuries is riddiculous

Legitimately curious on if this team has the capability to get to 80 points tonight.

I assume at least 3 of the 5 starters will be back for Saturday, but regardless I think we can safely skip this one.
