He actually had a nice stat line. So pretty good start.

Why does Grant suddenly look like he ate entire locker room of cakes between being traded and now? I'm so glad they found a way to replce him with PJ. To think that we would have to endure 4 years of this nonsense, ugh.

Grant sure looks better in a Hornets uniform than a Mavs.

Gaff only played 17 minutes when he's use to 26 minutes. I want to see him up to 24 minutes in this upcoming game . The Wiz dont have a real Center now .It's time to let the Landlord collect the rent.
Gafford should dominate under the basket the last two games before the all star break...Mavs should beat both teams and then they're gonna get a much needed rest(some time to recover) and the new players are gonna have time to get to learn the system, teammates and I think after the break the Mavs could climb up the ladder in the West

Gafford should get to keep this momentum going considering the Wizards center rotation is Holmes and Bagley.

Critical to win those last 2 games before the ASG - there should be really no excuses for either of them. Let's see if they deliver.

This is not the most difficult game of the year but i'm so excited about tonight game, Gafford is solid and we claimed for him years ago.
But about PJ? Can he be our Aaron Gordon?

Wiz have been playing pretty well lately but find a way to lose. They play with effort though i will give them that.
One big positive this season has been Deni Avdija. His previous two seasons he was a good, versatile defender but awful on offense. He was bricking 3s, missing layups and seemed scared to drive in the half court. Now he is attacking the basket all the time, finishing well and shooting 39% from 3. Looks like a different player.
He would have been perfect for you guys but he wasn't available.

It's all about the effort with this team. If Luka comes out with high energy and gets the team going, Mavs should basically annihilate the Wizards but unfortunately we have also seen this team play very bad vs lesser competition.
It's basically 50/50, which Mavs team shows up. But on the other hand OKC kept coming back and clawing their way chasing Mavs but Mavs bench was simply too much and firepower that they have now overwhelmed OKC.

It feels like Dallas brings the energy when their shots are falling and they get excited. Perhaps having DJJ, Lively, PJ, and Gafford who can all throw down an electrifying dunk can be another way they pick up their energy.

Kings and Suns play each other tomorrow so one of them has to take a loss and the Mavs play the suns after the All Star Break. Dallas controls a fair bit of there own destiny if they win the next 3 games.

I just hope they take the Wizards seriously because this is the type of game where the Mavs usually screw up. Expecting a monster game from that scrub Poole.

Bagley revenge game is coming. Luka should be careful
This is a game to rest Luka or Kyrie if they have serious injuries. At least limit Luka minutes as he is not going to take off with Allstar weekend. Kyrie will have a rest time there.
