Over an 82 game season that would be 59 or 60 wins, and we'd be the #1 seed.

What if not benching Gafford and limiting him to short minutes?

We'd probably be ahead of Clippers even now.

Since February 1st, Mavs record is 22-8 3rd best record in the league, behind BOS and DEN.

I was doing since February 8th the date of the trade deadline since that's the date we got both Washington and Gafford.

Nuggets are 19-7 since February 8th we're 20-7. Practically the same.

Yeah, I just used this date because Tim MacMahon used it on Twitter.

Last year our FO **** up along the year. Brunson-Wood and then a trade for expiring Kyrie like if Mavs had a chance for a playoff run after sending all the main rotation.

This year though they did impressively overall.
- Lively pick is great! You do not expect late lottery to be this good. Lively played great right away. My prayers to him. rest in peace for his mom.
- This team didnt have cap space. Exum two year minimum, DJJ for min. For min. money the gambles were really good and they are helping the team in big minutes. I dont care if Curry didnt work greatly the overall success from minimum deals were great.
- Grant Williams was okay to roll the dice. He didnt get a untradeable contract. Later he become PJ for us. Oversll losing two picks was not ideal but we finally replaced DFS.
- Gafford trade is the steal of the year. Wizards giving up Gafford for a very late 1st round pick of an awful draft is bonkers. Kudos to Mavs FO. We also got Prosper for taking Holmes deal that later used for the trade. Didnt play great so far but has potential.

Win-now trades that actually helped the team and give our MVP candidate Luka a chance for a deep playoff run. That is what GMs supposed to do when they spent draft picks. Gafford-Lively-PJ both fits the Luka’s timeline.

Few small mistakes and missed opportunities but overall it was very good with the trade deadline moves.

You can't understand that Kyrie was the first move of a long run and not a win now trade.

Nico made 2 awesome trades at the TDL and so the run has became not so long.
