Wolves have negated the corner 3s, but on the other hand there has been a lob party.

Despite getting incredible games from McDaniels and Reid and having leads... they blew it and then failed to execute end of games. Their stars have looked out of sorts.

The Wolves won three times in Denver the last round... so maybe they may be better/more stable on the road.

Mavs are 6-2 on the road, 4-2 at home
Minn is 5-1 on the road, 3-4 at home

Both teams seem to be better on the road. So this series isn't over.

Regardless of how Minny chooses to defend the Mavs - it's time for the role players (outside of the C's) to establish themselves in this series. I suspect Minny is going to do a lot more trapping this next game. If so, that ball will move to Lively/Jones/ Washington and they will have to make decisions in the middle of the floor. They have to make smart decisions with the ball and knock down their 3s.

And on the defensive end - we cannot spot them an 18pt game. We have to come ready to play. Simple as that.

As expected, In game 2, Wolves came out swinging, Mavs took the punch and dealt them a knockout, expect a more desperate Wolves team to swing even harder this time, don't rest on the assurance of the home court, Wolves won 3 games on the hardest home court in the league in the previous series

Not much difference IMO, one of the series would maybe go to 5 instead of 6, but that's about it.

More of a precaution IMO, he had to gonto the locker room in game 2, they want to have an option for the 0.01% chance he can't play.
