“We’ve got to win four games,” Dončić said. “So we’ve got to win one more game. That’s it.”

Lead us Jaden Hardy.

Despite a rough start, Gafford plays amazing after the 2nd half. Hardy plays pretty well with some mistakes, though. Green continues to guard Edwards well. Luka starts to adjust to Edwards defense. There are some positive signs despite major changes. Should PJ oe Kyrie plays better, the Mavs actually has a chance. Rebounding and rim protection need better care. Offense has to be more organized. The Mavs should have learnt something from the OKC series. Finish them off and move on.

So instead of a 4-0 sweep, we're going for a 4-1 gentleman's sweep. Works for me. Get it done damn it!

Drop this game and rest our rotation players for G6. That will be our must W game.

Pinson-Lawson-Cuban-Kieff-Powell for 48 minutes.

Let’s finish them off on their HC!

Tired of the Minny players running their mouth.

I feel a PJ big game coming. I’ve never seen someone shoot so confidently and with good form but have bad %s for as many games as he has had.

Keep letting it fly!

Sounded like lively will be back for g5. So important both in offense and defense. Gives an outlet every time down the court in offense.

When i saw powell on the court i wanted to cry. And he managed to get an amazing game for his current standard. 1 foul and 1 turnover in 3 min. He needs to be dumped this summer. Would have prefered morris playing those mins tbh

Ha, it's quite true. He is "not shy".

But I am not sure about the "confidence" and "form". You know he has many airballs even and it just feels like outside corner 3s... then it gets really grim.

He's unique in the sense that he could be brutal and you still trust that he will hit one or two near the end.

It's definitely annoying... if he shot a good percentage... the team would be on another level.

Looks like 1/5 from the corners in g4. :noway:

Sure we won the first two games on the road, which means mathematically we have way lesser chance to win again in G5, not mentioning KAT just did what KG couldn't do for the Wolves, and now all the momentum is on their side.

Given the current situation:

1) League wants to extend this series so the Celtics get even more advantage against any team that comes out of the west
2) Ant KAT Rudy have earned all the confidence back
3) Lively Luka Maxi still being hurt
4) Mavs are playing scared thinking about being on the loser side of a historical 3-4 come back

There is really 0% chance Mavs can pull it off again in G5. They will show to the world they are still a bunch of chokers and they are as soft as SpongeBob.

NO NEED TO WATCH THIS. We are going back to Dallas, period.
Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege.

Then I'll come and visit you in the hospital... No way we can win this game.
The Wolves are super hyped after G4, it will be a painful series for the Mavs.
The most painful of all time.

We need a miracle in G6 but i don't think it will happen.

Wait. So no way the Mavs win g5. And then they need a miracle in game 6?

Makes sense. The Wolves are a superteam with the best d of all time.

Sounds like you should be in hospital?
Nobody has ever come back from 0-3 and the last one was still very close despite Kyrie playing like schifo and no Lively.
But gotta end this quick otherwise we're playing Boston coming off a full offseason's worth of rest with a bunch of guys on crutches.

It's fascinating how feelings would be different if this was the pattern:

W
W
L
W

3-1

The Wolves likely think "we could have won every game", same as the Mavs "we will not lose 3 straight".

We're absolutely fine. We just got spoiled by winning what was it? 5 in a row?

G4 was still very tight despite no Lively and basically no Kyrie in terms of impact and PJ and Luka shooting poorly. Those 3 things won't coincide another time.

I guess we may bring up that the Wolves did have 2 double digit leads at home. So... kind of hints that game could have been blown out... Mavs hanged around and then came back.

Wolves also beat Nuggets by 50 once or whatever.

The Mavs have been solid all games. The Wolves at home had 2-3 bad phases, end of quarter/half that blew their lead. But yeah... on the whole... it almost kind of feels like the Wolves were the first team to "strike" in almost every game.

Would be cool to end this tonight, even though the most likely scenario is a L here and a W next game.
