Celts are in a bit of a predicament with KP.
I think they realize the importance of closing this out at home so he'll probably play.
However, if he gets reinjured or comes back ineffective, they'll know the Mavs have some big advantages (no pun intended) that could jeopardize their chances of finishing us off.
One of the reasons a serious contender should heavily consider the risk of acquiring someone like KP to be a key and vital piece.

Now we just need to take advantage of the situation, but I fear we will counter with a similar situation with Hardaway.

Kidd needed 15 days to make right adjustments for the Celtics squad, Mazzulla will respond tonight so maybe at half of july Kidd finds another answer...unfortunately we will be a Cancun.

When you still want KP but then you realize you have a KP 2.0 at home. Hope he has a great summer and brings another level of his game next season.

The Mavs can win this game by establishing in the paint scoring as they did last game and don't slow the pace down so Boston can set up their defense.
Also it's not about mavs role players making their 3's ,it's about Luka and Kyrie showing they can make their 3's .Both are shooting 25 percent from the 3 pt line. They're due both of them .....Dallas wins tonight and we have a series .

Bring in DP early to take out KP once and for all. Then it's an open game. Ish.

I'm trying to be positive, but this has the feel of the Minny series but inverted.
I feel like we have to blow them out again to take this one due to the atmosphere (crowd, refs and the whole "it's Boston's time" narrative).

Not really, game 4 was close in Minny series, and Mabs seem to have figured them out in games 3 and 4, Luka choked the game in game 3, like game 4 against OKC, they let the physical defense and refs get into his head, he has a chance to correct nkw.
If Celtics go on avalanche of 50 3s at 40%, then yeah, it's over, otherwise, Mavs have a chance...

Boston fans are talking like theyre going to win just because theyre in Boston but not addressing the rebounding problem and the pts they give up in the paint.
I know its going to be hard but Mavs have to push the pace and Exum helps that ,he has to play and perform. Pace equals more scrambling which helps Lively and Gafford to keep owning the paint .
No wasting possessions with heat check 3's,if your on shoot ,but dont settle for 3's when owning the paint.

Boston started out the series a plus 2 in rebounds , a minus 2 in rebounds 2nd game , a minus 7 in the 3rd game & a minus 21 in the 4th game . Dallas is taking advantage of their length game by game and this is where Boston is trying to even out the difference. Boston wins if they can solve their rebounding issues. This is where the game will be decided.
