Time to beat the Suns so their season starts to unravel as their elderly players start to break down after a bright start, 7-1.

We will follow the latest trend.

Lose to the red hot Suns, and then beat the Nuggets.

No way we win both.

And I hope we won't lose both games...

I will miss Kleber, see him guarding Nurkic in single coverage was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.

1-1 in the next 2 games will be the perfect average result of a perfect average team but it's ok because with Kidd a 0-2 would be the most realistic outcome.

PHX shooting 8/13 for three points in the first Q...insane....but it's not the first time a team is shooting lights out against Dallas...they need to rotate better on D but it's tough cause so far no one on the Suns can seem to miss...even Nurkic made two...ripped the net through...i'm calling magnets

Slow start to the games and 4th Q O rebounds from their opponents are killing the Mavs...they need to improve this, fast

Terrible call, but couldn't get a rebound and terrible execution offensiely on the 3 possesions nefore the last one.
The team continue to bleed wins on bad starts and clutch execution.

By wednesday the team could have a losing record....they need to get their s**t together fast....you can't coast thru the regular season, you're not that good...seedings matter....last year they got into the finals without homecourt advantage in every round, but you can't expect that to happen this year...Luka needs to Look at what Joker is doing with a far worse team...he might wanna take some notes from him about not complaining also and how to stay engaged/focused all the time...right now Joker is proving that he is in a class of his own in the league

You guys might think i'm crazy but I think Kidd is doing his best Phil Jackson jedi mind trick aka let the players figure it out....on a side note, cannot stand the flopping suns..where's draymon when you need him?

Hell of a game you guys played tonight. Sucks to end it on a bad foul, but that's just how it goes sometimes. I have a feeling Luka's not going to let this one sit well when he comes to PHX.

See you again soon.

We are unwatchable, we play bad defense and putrid offense.
2 L against those Suns in 7days are a huge shame.
Kidd pulled off the heart on this team too.

If we use Klay in this way it's better to release him tonight, first open look for him was in the middle of 4/4. No screen. No play for him. Just iso.

If Luka&Kyrie hadn't played an hero game it was a blowout L.

At least Naji was solid in our speciality (iso plays).
Powell was not terrible so it's a great news.

Enjoy with your coach Kidd.
The brillant PO mastermind

But hey, he can just watch the game so it's ok.

Don't overeact my friend, Kidd can't even know the spelling of Phil Jackson name... But no problem, last summer he talked to him so he is on the right track

5-4 for a team who came off the Finals... That's a disaster.

Kidd has to be bold. Sometimes you gotta make bold decisions. We have to be willing to fail as a unit --- to figure out how we're gonna play as a team. I hope this failure teaches us to play together/ ball movement/ man movement. I think DJ jr left because he wasn't promised a starting job. As much as I like Klay, the energy that DJJ brings to the lineup is clearly missing. That defensive hounding energy is something this team is missing right now. If only Klay would have agreed to be a 6th man. I'm holding out hope that Klay agrees to be a 6th man this year.....

Things Mavs need to do or they'll have an early exit this year....

1. Develop PJ and give him the touches their giving Marhsall the last couple of games
2. Move the ball and more man movement. Luka (mostly) but also Kyrie need to share the ball more than ever
3. Add another defender with energy to their starting lineup (Probably Grimes) and use Klay as a 6th man - I don't think this will happen unless Klay suggests it. I would the bring Klay in whenever - Grimes, Luka, or Kyrie goes out.

Aside from that, not sure what else this team can do.

Maybe not playing a Gleague guy like Edwards in crucial moments while having Grimes and Hardy there on the bench being cheerleaders? That would be a decent start.... Or watching a washed up Dinwiddie jog up and down the floor for 28 mins?

How can they improve on defense and get more energy? Hmmm, let's see, that is a tough one! Oh wait, it's not, Grimes and Naji are still alive!!!! Whoa, what a revelation, maybe play them 30+ minutes and experiment with that!

That Edwards minute(s) really killed our momentum. What was Kidd thinking? Ok lets randomly insert a 2 way player, that hasn’t played a singule minute yet into a close game. What did Grimes do to deserve such treatment? And what did Dinwiddie do to get so much minutes?
That 4th quarter lineup was just brutal - Luka-Kai-Dinwiddie-Klay-Powell. No defense whatsoever. I could actually argue Luka was our best iso defender this game. Saddd.
