When is Luka supposed to comeback?
We should still feel positive about this season. IF this team ever can get fully healthy, they'll be good. For now it's about survival and some player growth.

Oh wait, we still have Kleber and Kidd.
Game over, man, game over!

Dinwiddie is 7th on the team in total clutch mins (33.6) played this season. He is 2nd in total clutch FGAs (17). Dinwiddie's clutch TS% this season is 43.3%. In the month of Jan., Dinwiddie leads the team in clutch FGAs w/8, which is 2x more than the next Mav. His clutch TS% in Jan. is 35.9%.
Mavs' Top 5 in total FGAs in the clutch this season:
-Kyrie (45.8 mins) - 29 FGAs + 9 FTAs; 44 TS%
-Dinwiddie (33.6 mins) - 17 FGAs + 6 FTAs; 43.3 TS%
-Luka (35.4 mins) - 16 FGAs + 4 FTAs; 47.9 TS%
-PJ (47.5 mins) - 15 FGAs + 13 FTAs; 79.6 TS%
-Klay (37.7 mins) - 11 FGAs; 59.1 TS%
In the month of January:
-Dinwiddie (11.4 mins) - 8 FGAs + 4 FTAs; 35.9 TS%
-Klay (6.1 mins) - 4 FGAs; 87.5 TS%
-PJ (11.4 mins) - 1 FGA; 125 TS%
-Naji (8.4 mins) - 1 FGA; 0 TS%
-Grimes (4.9 mins) - 1 FGA + 1 FTA; 104.2 TS%
-Hardy (3.4 mins) - 1 FGA ; 0 TS%
A fun fact to go along with the above: Klay and Dinwiddie have the same number of total assists in the clutch this season with 3. One of these players spends 91.3% of the time he’s on the court without the ball in his hands.
Long story short, Kidd is completely incapable of coaching anything without Luka or Kyrie. And this team can't get Luka back fast enough. Actually missing him on both ends of the floor. Luka led the team in transition points/deflections/fast break and he also played with faster pace they play now. On top of that, he was actually REALLY GOOD on defense as well.

Because every calf injury is the same?Better question, why Hartenstein is missing so many games? Bad conditioning, laziness, too much beer?

He gave 3 A, 3 B+ and 1 C(Klay) in a lost against shorthand Pelicans. Wtf? Apparently almost everyone, Dinwiddie included, had very good game.

I know it will sound maybe a bit silly but like we talked in the past, Gafford should bite way less on pump fakes or even shots. He gives up so much space when he gets himself out of position. Dude is absolutely obsessed with blocking shots. This is where Lively thrives, much better in space and can also cover more ground. Gafford sure is disappointing this year. Well apart from some games.Bob8 wrote:Does someone know. Who is the guy ranking Mavs players on MavsMoneyball?
Wait, what? They doing that? I didn't even know lol.
