It was against the Wolves that Luka last played. Time moves fast.
- Questionable: Quentin Grimes, Dereck Lively II, Naji Marshall & Klay Thompson
- Out: Luka Doncic, Dante Exum, Jaden Hardy, & Dwight Powell.

The Mavs play OKC tomorrow.

A winless week will lead to major change on the roster or coaching change, let's do it!

Stein reported Mavs are not shopping Gafford but a surprise trade could still happen. He also said Nico is not in panic mode due to so many injuries. They believe a healthy roster (with Luka) can be one of the best in the league. They are also afraid to get rid of Gafford because Lively is injury prone.
I personally still think they're shopping hard for a backup wing, something we already knew before season started would be a problem on the long run.

Just saw Lively is out for 2-3 months (foot fracture). Just forfeit the season.

Well you definetly can't trade Gafford now...that would mean Powell/Maxi duo again

I never believed they'll trade him anyway. That's just people saying the same stuff as that time with Brunson. And Lively being so injury prone it wouldn't make sense. Even though someone on that backup big wing is still badly needed. Kidd will run small ball rotations now more than ever and Maxi just sucks on both positions.

It's only half season. Can we start tanking already?

4-11 and counting, but it's all ok
-Kidd makes experiments
-he doesn't care about RS
-he tries to figure out players, with Dinwiddie is working very well. 13 great shots again.
-he talked to Phil Jackson, but maybe he was Reggie Jackson. I don't know.

If the Mavs own their pick, I vote to tank. The higher that pick, the more it can be enticing to New Orleans. Flip it for Herb Jones.

Guys... Mavs can't tank anymore at this point. Look at the standings, they're 1.5 wins away from 5th spot and would basically have to lose all games until the end of season to even have a chance at top10 pick.
With Luka returning sooner than expected, this won't do anyone a favor if they force it like 2 years ago and Lively is also going to be evaluated sooner than what was first said. Exum started doing on the floor drills in Charlotte, so his return is coming.
They're stuck at hoping they can at least end up as top10 team and make the play-ins. Funny enough, IF FULLY HEALTHY, they'll be the team even nr1 OKC in the standings wouldn't want to face in the 1st round.

Brandon Williams looked amazing in the 1st half. He was responsible for 6 straight points in PnR action with Gafford, defended well on perimeter and was trying to get guys involved. Then got basically benched for Dinwiddie and the rest is history. I'm lost for words how absolutely hate watching Dinwiddie play instead of these young guys who show way more promise than him.

We can't play p&r, it's not allowed, it's not on our playbook.
Brandon Williams will never see the court again if he can't play ISOs or step back 3s all night long.
Spencer Dinwiddie ISOs is the way. Trust me.
Obviously it's all Luka fault, we have to play this basketball for maximize his game, even when he is in the crowd.
You are a fool, tank is the perfect solution for this season so it's another free pass for Kidd. Great.
