lol I’m still a Mavs fan. My allegiance is to the team. The trade was bad BUT I can’t have faith in players who don’t take care of themselves. But we 100% could have just went another route. Trading for another injury prone star is insane.

This is a fandom decimating move, and the idiots did it when the Cowboys suck and all eyes are on the Mavs, NBA finalists...
I'm baffled, absolutely baffled.
It's either idiots or geniuses, because if you want to move a team, that's how you make the city demand it...
Defense wins draft lotteries!

Mavs fan my entire life, different logos, different owners, but I'm hurt. Yes, I will continue to watch my Mavs.

The las vegas wizards. Probably the worst team in the world. Formerly known as the dallas mavericks

Haven't posted in eons.

I didn't like the direction the NBA had taken in recent years (despite enjoying Luka very much) in general.
Cuban selling to "these" owners was already something that seriously had me contemplate my fandom.

This is the final straw. I'm out. Screw you Nico and especially screw "these" people that are now owning an entity that I once very much loved.

Boycott guys. They are betting on your loyalty to the team to get away with this.

I'll still watch. Pacers are my team, but I've paid attention and rooted for the Mavs ever since Carlisle first went there.

Now I'll hate watch the Mavs and hope they lose a lot. Sorry Mavs fans.

Genuinely I’m done with both.

My enthusiasm has been dropping for a few years and this is the final straw.

I don’t believe in a lot of the game rigging conspiracy stuff. But I absolutely cannot see any logical reason for this trade outside of significant influence which has no interest in fairness or the success of the Dallas Mavericks.

This either comes directly from the NBA in moving a star to a failing big market, or there are other dodgy motives from our owners which are undisclosed.

Nobody (and I mean nobody) would make this move for Basketball reasons. There was no time pressure. You shop Luka to EVERYBODY and get at least 20 significantly better offers than this and at least 10 offers at least twice as good as this.

Done with the Mavs after 20 years

I guess I'll watch the Nba impartially. Maybe become a fan of a east coast team with better view times.

Don't do it... It's a bad day but after all we are all Mavs fans. Trust me. Hang on.

Cancelled my league pass for yall and will not watch until the playoff, we've been fooled into watching a WWE type of product. I hate that I love the game or else I would never watch again. This hits home as a Bucks fan, I am so incredibly sorry. It's like losing a piece of you, I'm sure.

Thanks 41, just been a rough year so far for me. First I got bell's palsy, not this. At least basketball kept me upbeat at one point

Yeah I can't support a single team in this corrupt ass league. I'm done. I feel like there's no point to any of it now and I dunno how Mavs fans can just switch allegiance this issue is bigger than just the Mavs y'all

My wife and I want to move from Dallas to Denver in a few years so she thinks we should become nuggets fans. But being a Mavs fan is a physical part of me so I don’t know if that’s something I can turn off.

Return to Dallas Mavericks
