Jason Kidd under the spotlight

Ever since Kokoskov left in 22 and being 1 year removed from Rick Carlsile offense, Jason Kidd handed the keys to the offense to Luka.
Jason Kidd, when he had the personnel and the buy in from the players, delivered a great defense, I'd say that in both 22 and 24 Mavs overachieved their defensive potential, but the team repeatedly fell apart offensively without Luka, best example is the Clippers seres, despite Luka not being great, the team collapsed anytime he went to the bench.
I wouldn't attribute falling apart to lack of talent, the team had enough talent, but combination of the fact Kidd knew Luka will play 40MPG in the PO and will deliver enough offense to be a contender, it didn't matter, it was the stretches that Luka missed that looked terrible, but it was 10-15 games each season and it didn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
Luka is no longer here.
AD, Kyrie and Klay are excellent offensive players but they aren't great isolation players (except Kyrie, and even he isn't great at handling doubles and traps), and they aren't players you give the ball to and trust them to make offense for others.
PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford are good offensive players who will score on mismatches, Lively is a gifted passer with good vision.
The old methods are no longer sufficient and there needs to be schemes, set plays and the creation would need to be distributed among the starting 5, off ball movement now is ket to generating offense.
Kidd needs to assume this responsibility and deliver, this is on him, he has the talent, he no longer has the maestro, he needs to be the maestro, not just on defense, but on offense too.
Hearing this, I'm not sure if it's just Kidd toeing the company line, but I have a feeling he was in on this
