AD should be back after allstar break im guessing...these next games are critical for the team. We need guys to step up.

No chance he's back that soon. If it will be 1 month, it will be soon. Knowing situation in Dallas, I would say that they are not telling us severity of injury, my guess is at least as long as Luka.

Read on Twitter

Focus on the sentence, if the injury can be treated without surgery. That implies there is not just a strain, but a rapture somewhere. In that case he's out for the season.

AD is making KP look like an iron man.

At least Nico can make the case that the Mavs are undefeated with AD.

If he is out for any time longer than a month we should just shut it down, play our few young guys heavy minutes, and take our chances in the lotto.

Nico not only sabotaged our team for the long term, but completely destroyed this season as well. Now our window is down to 1 year.
Good frickin grief!!!!!

Our window is 0 years. I told you guys.

Nico and Adelsons sold our present and future.
Finally it's clear for everybody.

So my Chiefs lost in the championship game so I guess Brett Veach should be calling Jerry Jones to make a Mahomes plus a draft pick for Dak offer using Nico logic.

If they don't make playoffs, it's over. Kyrie will just sign somewhere else. I would say the only option now is tank, it won't be difficult, and hope for miracle in lottery.

Kyrie will be the next injured guy. He usually can't handle too much workload without taking some games of from time to time

Go for surgery and get it done with. Might as well shut down Kyrie too down the road. This season is toast. They'll have next year as the only real window in my opinion to go for it all.

Give Christie, OMP, and Hardy all the minutes they can handle for the rest of the season. That's the only way this Mavs will be watcheable.

My thoughts. Even with AD, in this current set up, he would have to carry an excessive amount of minutes and load.

Without him, he will break at some point, and we already know we can't count on AD, so the team could be toasted
He may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot but don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot.

That is probably the right option if the injury is quite serious (some hints that it may be). However, I can't imagine that these owners would be able to sustain it. They probably would turn on Nico and say he blind-sided them and fire him. The owner kind of comes off like he's not very bright in the head and gives vibes that he couldn't foresee the backlash, so can definitely see down the line some soap opera with finger pointing about who did what.

Almost comical situation. All they had to do was give this team time as originally constructed. They were never healthy and could have a good second of half of the season. Literally all they had to do was do nothing but wait. Then after the season make whatever decisions, always pursing max value. But nah... now we have to deal with this complex reality for the foreseeable future: colluded with Lakers to trade, betray fans and get a fraction of his trade value back. And now we are back to dealing with injuries monitoring anyway.

Remember folks:

It hurts a lot. Messes with your mind and well being. But it's just sports. We'll find a way to deal with the ridiculousness of things. Be nice to one another and understand that everyone is miserable... so no need to be extra miserable to rub salt on wounds. Sometimes it's better to just take a time off this stuff than to be too immersed in it and ruin your mood everyday.

This needs to be stressed, it sucks, but this is entertainment, and real life out there has lots of options to take your mind off, if you can't think positive in the wake of this, you're better taking time off and find something that fulfills you.
Luka will be fine, Mavs will be fine eventually, everyone here should be fine.

It's too late...Dumont made those crap statements yesterday, now he can't go out clean of this situation and save his face.

I am very happy for that, no more lies.
They all wanted the trade (for personal reasons of course) and now they have to pay in front of the world media.

Nico career is over. But he probably doesn't care.
Dumont reputation is over. And he cares a lot.
Adelsons figured out what they are.

The circle is closed.
Clean the sheet and restart with Dirk president.
