RS 24/25 - Mavs vs Warriors (Wed 8:30PM EST)

Post#1 » by Dirk » Tue Feb 11, 2025 3:00 pm

NBA Scheduling sucks.

At least Miami also played last night.

Don't ask me why, but I thought the Mavs played Miami tonight. Turns out it's after this one. Turns out I was wrong in my dream and they are playing the Warriors with a depleted team.

The Warriors are on a good run. This is probably going to be a tough watch, but if they don't quit, I won't quit.

How bad is Gaffs injury? Also is Kidd resigning soon or what do we read into the missed press conference appearance?

I don't feel bad for this garbage organization. Karma.

I just feel so bad for people who paid good money out of their pockets and watched every nightmares unfold live.

It's ok, we know you were the guy yelling "fire Nico" and got escorted out. Must have been a tough night

Trade aside, I believe this was going to be a cursed season regardless.

Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford will be re-evaluated within two weeks after sustaining a right ankle sprain against the Sacramento Kings on Monday night.

Kidd wet dream... 5 guards on the court and Dinwiddie runs the team.

However GSW has no real big.
If Steph&Hield will not go too hot from 3s they are beatable.

We are more athletic than them, they are old asses.

It might be, but without Nico, Luka would have been already back, and PJ and Gafford not injured in this alternative timeline.

Remember in baseball, Boston got cursed for trading away Babe Ruth? I think Mavs will go down a similar path here.

I don't believe in curses...everything seems like a curse if the original team doesnt win.

It still doesn't feel real.
Waiting for this game to tip off and no Luka.

What a sequence by Brandon Williams. Guy is gonna bury Hardy on the bench if he's playing like that.

EDIT: And now he just did the Rondo fake behind the pass to layup. Wow!

Christie is a baller. This kid can be more then a prototypical 3&D role player. Ice in his veins. Willing to take the big shots, cool as ice on the free throw line with the game on the line. Really like what I've seen from him. For all that bad stuff that has happened to us, he's been the lone bright spot.

EDIT: He's averaging 17/5/3 on 51/55/83 shooting splits as a Mav so far. Reminds me of Mikal Bridges.

Naji has 0 confidence in his shot, he's being left wide open and still drives.
He won the game with the drive though

With how the Suns look, it's gonna be hard to miss the play in, but they need to finish 8th or higher to avoid OKC 1st round

Easy.
GSW is bad unless Steph goes very hot from 3s.
The Butler trade was just his last breathe before death, they are done. And with them all their fanboy.

We player hard, basketball position less at his peak.
Max is solid and Kyrie was hot.
Williams is a good back-up PG, he can play real basketball and not isos or stupid hero plays.
He is better than Hardy for sure, volume scorer almost useless at high level.
Dinwiddie was terrible again , he plays good 1 game of 10 and even in that game every points scored are 3 allowed. 3rd string guard at best. Very low IQ.

Edwards and Prosper solid, they passed well the ball and put a lot of energy on the court.

Huge W, like i said will be difficul stay out of play in unless Kyrie go down.

No hopes for the season but at least play at our best every game waiting for day-to-Davis and Gaff returns.

Fire Nico
**** off Dumant fat ass hard worker
