Super tough game.

Bucks have been in strong form, posting an 7-3 record over their last 10 games. Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been pivotal, with Lillard averaging 29.3 points, 8.7 assists, and 5.8 rebounds over his last six outings, and Antetokounmpo contributing significantly in his return from injury. This stretch highlights the Bucks' offensive prowess and their push for a higher seed in the Eastern Conference.

This will be a tough one even if PJ somehow makes the lineup. Guarding Giannis with none of our original big men is tough.

Our tallest guys on the floor will be barely 6'7 PJ (if healthy) and Omax against giants like Brook and Giannis, even Kuzma is 6'9. This matchup could not come at worse time, I think we need to shoot the lights out to win this game.
Oh I forgot our savior Powell who is 6'10, so maybe we have a chance xD

I'd rest Kyrie in both Bucks games, team can't drop out of play in and can't really grab the 6th seed, so I'd focus on injury prevention rather than seeding.

A healthy Mavs team will be the best play in team off all time

A healthy Mavs team would be the biggest miracle of all time.

PJ injures again. Moses Brown will not take a 2-way spot. The Mavs looks to sign Kai Jones to 2-way contract instead. What's the point of keeping Kelley over Brown? This organization's moves are incomprehensible. With PJ out as well, what's next for the Mavs? It's too late to tank.

Mavs training staff with another injury telenovela, PJ and the sore ankle, almost a month into, complete banger!

They continue to force players to play through injuries because they are desperated.
All the world laugh at us. It's a shame.

I had issues with this game...I wont even talk about how the officials ref Giannis..dude gets a way with murder.
I considered this one of the games we would probably lose. However couple of points of contention:
I know PJ might be playing hurt ( but why is he guarding Giannis at the 3 point line when the guy is like 8-40 from 3 this year?) I expect Jason Kidd to actually coach in those situations. Pull your guy aside and tell him, back behind the 3point line. I actually think the best way to guard him is to constantly give him space (so he takes the shot) or play him tight on his dribble. You have to do one of the other. What you do not want to do is be indecisive and let him get an easy angle to the basket. Why not hound Giannis like they do Luka? He's no wear near the ball handler. I'm hunting Giannis up the court with non-stop pressure and then when he's in the half court...i'm damn near begging him to that jumper.
We were playing well when the ball was moving in the 1st half...something happened and the ball and man movement stopped and we the defense on Giannis was just low IQ. I know we're missing players but Kidd has to do a better job of communicating to certain players when their clearly making strategic mistakes.
As for PJ's offense, is he still hurt? I donno. Whatever it is, Kidd needs to coach better. The unforced turnovers are unacceptable. We need a win versus SAC and lets hope guys start getting healthy. Very disappointment in the execution by our guys but more disappointed by the coaching. Kidd needs to be more hands on.

I can't pin point the exact problem but it's almost as if Mavs miss a certain top **** playmaker you complained about for 2 years. How many times have i told you PJ is not what you think he is? Mavs are not missing any guards so whatever problem you have with playmaking and ball movement it is what it is at this point, no point even talking about it.
The only reason why this team can get infinitely better is when all 3 centers return because that will be the strongest front court in the league, which will also carry them if they can get all healthy soon enough.

Ball movement with this average back court is good in first quarters, when defense become tight you need a floor general superstars.
But people here will never understand.
Enjoy guys with this awesome ball movement

Rebounding deficiencies are real issue. So is stagnant offense when jumpers are not falling. When you guard bigger players, stamina is a huge issue as well. But let's be real. Mavs perimeter defense is pretty bad. Dame gets on fire with Mavs pick-n-roll defense. Both the bigs and the guards allow space for Dame to operate. Giannis is kept in check early but things get lost on the way. Guarding players like Giannis or Lebron, you can't expect PJ to come up big every nights. Somebody else have to step up. I think Exum guards Giannis right at some turns. This is similar to Chicago sending Caruso on Giannis. Both OMax and Max has no clue how to guard Dame being picked away. This is the learning process for young players.

TJ replacing Brown is not a great move. Size is an issue. So is rebounding.

Quentin Grimes and Luka Doncic are the only guards this season to have a game with...
Over 40 points
Over 5 rebounds
Over 2 steals
Over 5 threes
