AD should be back on this road trip according to Stein.

Will he play 1 quarter each game or 3 quarters in one game? That's the question...

AD needs to sit out the season so Dallas can tank. With him there they have a chance to overtake the Suns.

You don't see what Nico is doing here?

Mavs know they'll have little chance to getting top10 spot and then probably even less chance of getting into the playoffs because they have to win 2 games vs LAC and Twolves... Good luck with that lol.
If they somehow do manage to win ALL of that, they'll face OKC in the 1st round without Kyrie and while all 3 AD, Lively and Gafford will be just coming back from bad injuries.
TLDR; they just want AD to play on 4/9 so that they can stick it to the Lakers, that's all there is to it. Do not underestimate the stupidity of Nico and Dumont.

Of course they need a useless W against Lakers...

I can't wait to see how Nico screws us over this offseason.
The ownership won't want to pay AD and AD will probably want out.

That's actually very interesting situation.
Kyrie contract needs to be resolved, and AD is extension eligible, Kyrie won't play most of next year and AD will likely miss the PO so he won't show anything substantial.
Nico will go to Dumont and suggest re-signing Kyrie and extending AD, how will Dumont respond is going to be very interesting.

Dumont strikes me as a cheap owner type. So when he sees that bill, he'll probably want to get out of paying AD too thinking he'll get the same amount of production from Kessler Edwards for a fraction of the cost.

He does to me too, but that Grimes for Martin trade makes me rethink that, he practically paid tax, cut repeater tax grace period one year short for an injured player, but it maybe just Nico being incompetent and not understanding the ramifications of his actions.

That Grimes trade feels "forced". Probably a knee jerk reaction to trading Luka. Then it feels like Nico wanting to fix something where nothing was broken in the first place. The trade feels like it was done just because. And add the "panic" that they had post Luka trade so sending out people who they feel won't re-sign just because.

We can't trust to Dumont, he is just a lier.
One month after Luka traded he said that he has no problem to pay 3 supermax... So he can both resign AD&Kyrie and trade for old ass KD or let Kyrie walk and trade AD this summer.
I don't care to much about Mavs games lately but I'm very curious to see how Harrison will get out of this situation, as NBA GM is done forever and "Fire Nico" chants will be next american anthem.
Money+be a clown+no more Texas vacancy are what he wants?

Stein confirms AD is playing tonight.
My guess is he plays the 5.

The trade happened because Grimes wanted out. I guess Nico saw that Martin has a friendly contract and went with it. He even got a chance to void the trade due to Martin's injuries but declined that. I think Grimes agent forced Nico to act quickly because trade deadline was coming up and Nico f*cked up again because he caped 1st apron basically and screwed AD in the process losing him 6M.

Mavs are 34-37. Hard to believe consider we have lost so many games lately.
Last 10 vs Brooklyn:
Mavs 8-2
Both Mavs and Nets are 2-8 in their last 10 regular season games.
Mavs are a 3.5 point favorite.

This guy is hella interesting
Kings joined the part, it's a 4 team race to the last 2 play in spots
Kings
Suns
Mavs
Blazers
Combining schedule + record, Mavs look like they are going to make it to 9th seed.
