The trade they made would be like trading a 25 year old Steph Curry for Bam Adebayo. They offered Tyler Herro too but you thought that was too much and Bam is more than enough compensation for a 25 year old Steph Curry.

Stephen A was right when he said Nico did the press conference as orders from Dumont.
And Nico is smart to suck up to Dumont because Miriam Adelson is like 80 years old. Dumont is in line to inherit all of it. If not with the Mavs, I'd be surprised if Nico didn't land on his feet in some company they own.

The franchise went up in smoke on 2-2-25

They killed it
End of story
These people continue to reveal who they are which lines up perfectly with the trade to begin with.
Dirk was the golden goose. The highly overrated Mark Cuban knew this.
Luka was the golden goose. The highly overrated Mark Cuban knew this.
Nico Harrison thinks he is the golden goose.
These guys have egos bigger than the sun. AND ideas that are bad. That's a toxic combination.

So very true.
The truth still hurts as I type this in Fort Worth, Texas. Here for work but landing in DFW airport yesterday was a painful reminder that we traded our Golden Goose. Dirk taught Luka well and he was here to stay.
