Can you imagine the Mavs with Kyrie?
At least Brandon Williams looks ridiculously good.

The Grizzlies are heavily favoured to win. On the page I am checking, they have the same odds the Kings had.

Memphis a heavy favorite. Would surprise me if the Mavs won this one.

Should we win this game so we can be swept or gentleman swept by OKC as the ultimate humiliation?
Please no. Go Grizzlies, please end this nightmare season for us, which can help get Nico fired.

The scariest guy on the Grizzlies is Bane, he always goes off against the Mavs.

Yup Bane is going for 30+ for sure especially if Ja doesn't play or plays hobbled. 40+ if you show him a picture of Josh Green getting drafted.

Bane will be a problem, but they have the frontcourt size that I think will be another problem. That is one advantage we would normally have but not in this case. The frontcourt will basically even out, but their guards will kill us.
We have to have huge games from Klay, BWill AND Exum on both ends for us to have any chance.

If you trade your 25 yo generation superstar for a 2way big and your front court is even out with Memphis it's a big big problem.
I hope street clothes is a lot better than JJJ and a tall rookie.

AD/Gaff/DL is definitely better than Edey/JJJ/MBJ, but we won't be bullying Memphis like we did Sac.
Guard play has to be absolutely perfect for us to win imo.

I think Kidd's gameplan has always been pack the paint and doubly so when AD got here, so their perimeter shooting gets more important.
Unless Kidd throws a curve ball, Memphis will win the game from the perimeter.

I agree on that.
Our guards were almost perfect last game too, i can't see a better game from Klay, Exum and BWill so it's on AD and the front court. They can't bully Memphis but they are way better on paper.
The problems start if Memphis make 3s.

Memphis used to be 2nd or 3rd seed in the West until they fell off the ranks. Dallas is barely a play-in team. Memphis takes this one easy.

Agree. I think Memphis takes this one with perimeter shooting.

Yes but Ja is very limited for injury and their lockeroom is a mess right now. We will see...

You are correct. I did not know Ja was injured. Just read that now.

How did that front court size work against Draymond and Looney? The Mavs have a clear advantage in the frontcourt.

Me thinks Caleb Martin and Naji Marshall has to stick to one of Morant and/or Bane all game. Klay and AD will spam those same pick and roll plays.

Not saying Mavs aren't better. I'm saying we won't bully them like we did Sac.
If Memphis is scoring from the perimeter, our advantage in the paint won't be a huge advantage like it was in Sac.
