Is NBA League Pass the only option if you're out of market? In Nashville

The Mavs has to find a common identity first. The guys are not playing focus at times. I know the OKC has taken away all starters. But this is no excuse at all. How come a big lineup, all rim protectors are driven away from the rim? Something has been wrong.

I liked what I saw from Flagg. He looked really good in his 2nd quarter spurt and at some point looked like the best player on the court. Excited to see more from him.

You're watching the first pre-season game with largely filler players against an entire team of filler players. Wtf

To be fair, anyone could have owned the "C squad" OKC brought to the game. They also looked totally unmotivated to play. But yeah, we could see PJ forcing it a bit, trying to prove he belongs in the starting lineup. Still sucks to see him coming from the bench but it's just a statement how incredibly deep this team has suddenly become with Flagg.

Yes, Cooper adapts really well with the big lineup strategy. I can't say the same about the rest of the team. But the opponents also have hard time to adjust to the Mavs big lineup as well. As much as I don't want the Mavs to struggle shooting from long range, bad pass and poor turnovers, the Mavs has overall experience a successful experiment with the big lineup. The defense is good. Though there's sometimes no one protecting the rim or protecting the defensive boards. Leadership and communication is needed. Players have hard time to adjust to new role and new style of plays. But overall, the ball movement is good. The passing skills need further works. So is perimeter shooting. I wonder if how things look against the full-teamed OKC squad, though. I think the Mavs has to erase the two-timeline approach. Let's get everyone on the same page: win now this upcoming season. The opportunity arises. It's up for the team to grab. This team has legitimate chance to win it all this coming year. To be sure, talent-wise, this squad is better than 2011 championship team. But the rest of the league improved as well. I still think the Mavs can win it all. But it depends how much the young players grow and how much the veterans left in tank. Of course, injuries are also a factor.
