RS 25/26 - Mavs @ Grizzlies (Frid. 8PM EST)

The Grizzlies are 3-6, so a big game to get off the bottom of the conference.
Grizzlies fans appear to be as upbeat as Mavs fans.
This team is my least favorite grizzlies team ever
I’ve supported this team since they arrived in 2001 when Shane Battier came to read to my first grade class at Idlewild elementary. I’ve supported some awful teams during that time span, and this is my least favorite by far. They don’t try. They don’t communicate. They don’t play hard. They don’t have fun. It’s only made worse because there genuinely is some great talent. Ja and Jaren look like they’d rather be anywhere else but on the court in a grizzlies uniform. It’s disgusting basketball. Iisalo is actively putting out terrible lineups. There seems to be little interest from the team to win. I really hope I’m wrong, but this is an awful team, injuries be damned.

Mavs are a 4.5 point underdog.
Memphis has won 4 straight games against us.
Memphis is 7-3 in their last 10 H2H games against us.
Current Season:
Memphis has lost 4 straight, Mavs have lost 3 straight.
Memphis will attempt to end their losing streak and win big. I expect Memphis to win.

Even Zach Lowe is pouring gasoline to the fire now. Mavs have to start winning or this could turn ugly really soon. But then again, if it gets at least Nico fired, would also be good.

That will not fix all of our problems but it's a start.
And everybody (players, fans and coaching staff) need a fresh start. The vibes around the team are really bad

We need Nico fired before he makes another trade.
I don't want him being in charge of moving any low grade talent or even Anthony Davis.

I was so negative about the trade I relinquished my Mavs' fanship despite surviving the post Tarpley years (how could I not after being there for all 21 years of Dirk only to see the team do this). And they're still somehow even worse than I thought they'd be. Which mightt not even be a bad thing because if this team needs anything it's another very high draft pick (Peterson would be perfect)

Good to see Kidd and company listen to some of us on this board about tanking the rest of the year.
They did a wonderful job of that tonight but maybe next game they shouldn't be so obvious.
