I'm glad that Damp and Stackhouse will be available for this game. We'll need them both. Detroit just got beat by Boston, they'll be in a bad mood, and will want to push somebody around. It should be a real intense, physical game. If Dirk doesn't show up in the right frame of mind, we could be in trouble.

It always seems like the Mavs play well against the Pistons... I think Devin will have his hands full against Chauncey tonight... It should be an entertaining game to say the least. Go Mavs!

Unfortunately cant watch this one, should be a good game though.
Pistons have been playing some exceptional basketball this season, hopefully the Mavs treat the game as a benchmark and bring some energy

This is our statement game tonight, and with a win probably the game that will give us the spotlight again and get everyone talking. Like someone above said we always tend to come out for big games whether its Phoenix, San Antonio..Golden State..etc.. so this should be no different. Relieved that stack and damp will be available. Question, who is going to be chasing Rip around the court, and will devin vs. chauncey be a problem since chauncey could easily post him up?

You mean besides the fact that the ball never comes back out regardless of the defense placed on him? He needs to lose that tunnel vision.

^^True, but I think they are really trying to hammer at Rasheed, and Bass is the best to do that. It will be adjusted in the 2nd half since we couldnt manage to get atleast one more call on sheed after the 1st two calls. Hopefully J-Ho gets more involved in the game and we go on another big run. We are better than this team.

How many fouls is Herrmann going to get away with before they start calling those shoves during positioning and body on shots? He's not a star player nor the home team and he is allowed to do whatever to Dirk. That's just wrong!
Sure you can bother Dirk if you are smelling and rubbing your odors oll over Dirk the way that fruitcake is.

I hope Dirk is alright... Everyone is playing good tonight though, and it looks like they are holding their own while he is in the back.

I guess the Pistons don't respect us. They never showed up to play tonight. Oh, wait....they are not that good!

What happened to Dirk? I turned off the game once the Mavs started running up the score on the Pistons.

He came back and is okay.
The bigger question is why on earth did Avery have George as PG at the end? (Diop/Juwan/Bass/Hassell/George)
