The Heat are Protesting a Game?

Is is Possible that we can protest an NBA Championship? I want you guys to know that I ran into a member of the Sad Sac Kings at a strip club in Vegas and I asked him what he thought about the Heat and Mav series. He told me that his whole team think the same thing that McGrady said to the news reporter. I get some satisfaction knowing that actual NBA players think we got screwed in that series and that is not just us fans complaining about it.
It still hurts me to this day, I HATE Bennett Salvatore!!!!!!!!!!!

I figured you guys would take issue with this. I know how it feels...
Though angrily denouncing Donaghy's actions, Mathis referenced the pivotal shot in Game 6 of the 1998 Finals by Jordan against the Utah Jazz that gave the Bulls their sixth and final championship in the Jordan era. Many observers maintain Jordan committed an offensive foul, but it was not called because of Jordan's stature and reputation.
"Refereeing has gone downhill," said Mathis, who runs the Mathis Foundation that works with and supplies scholarships for foster kids in Cincinnati. "Remember when Jordan hit that winning shot? I'm going to give you exactly what the commentators said: 'What a great move by Michael.' Was that a great move or was that an offensive foul? There was no question it was a push-off. No buts about it. The only buts you can have is, 'Well, it was Michael Jordan.' That was a defining moment
I hate the Heat, Go Hawks!
Enjoy the Heat's sub 20 win season everyone!

while i agreed we got screwed its best to just stop thinking about it for now
the heat though have good reason to protest the game when a scorekeeper obviously made a mistake in giving shaq his 6th foul when it shouldve been his 5th

Yeah, I agree with studcrackers...just let it go.
We can't go back in time. In my mind, that the 2006 NBA Finals Champions will always be the Miami Heat*.
Wade played great, but his great play was severly tarnished by the calls he got. Until he proves he can do anything else besides cell phone and self-idolizing commercial's, he is really a 2nd rate player IMO and already in that "alway's injured" catagory IMO. One of the most over-rated player in the NBA.

Everyone (including D-Wade) knows that the refs gave them the championship, but as a Mavs fan, the Golden State loss upsets me 100 times more, just becuase the refs called it fairly. As far as the protest goes, thats just Stern doing yet another thing for his NBA poster boys in Riley, Shaq, and Wade... 20 bucks says the lottery will have Miami getting the first pick, no matter what the odds are.

Some of you are really giving Mavs fan a bad name.
Stop trash talking about the 2006 Finals, please. I think with all the bad spots our teams have seen we can all just put our problems aside and focus on our own teams.

Nah! We only comment on games where the refs really are actually paid...not any ol home town fan that comes to this board upset because we beat them.
If you didn't notice, we never complained about the Kings' series, the Warrior series, etc. just the ones where the refs chose who won.
Sorry to say bud, your Rockets just don'tr qualify!

Try losing game 7 by less than 40 points and then you can complain about the calls.

Can you cite a source on these payments? Did cuban admit to such? Did the ref tell? Did a witness come forward?

If anyone had a complaint, it is mavs against Heat and all of the phantom calls against D Wade.
Anyway, this is just loser talk. Since this happens every 25 years, I would not expect it to happen again any time soon
