I miss when this was a HUGE rivalry game. Hopefully a win in Arco will be easier.

Your Dallas Mavericks (26-11)
1st in the Southwest Division and T-1st in the West

Probable Starting Five:

Key Reserves:

The other K-Mart is back and Bibby will be soon. Artest?

The Sacramento Kings (14-21)
4th in the Pacific Division and 11th in the West

GO MAVERICKS!!

Should be a pretty easy win (if Josh plays)... Anyone know what his status is? Why didnt he play on Saturday?

Man, I hope he plays. It's a pretty big dropoff in talent level when he's not available. Martin and Abdur-Rahim are out. That'll help, although Salmons seems to be playing pretty well right now in place of Martin. I hope that we don't play down to our opponent again like we did on Saturday.

Actually, Martin played against the Pacers on Saturday, so he'll play, but I don't think he'll start. Most likely Salmons will start at SG and Garcia will start at SF.

Bibby, Artest, and SAR are out, however, which sucks because I would love to see these teams go at each other with their full starting lineups.

Still won't be the same as it was in the playoffs though. Bibby vs Nash...Webber vs Dirk...

Anyways, the Kings have beat alot of good teams at home (Magic, Spurs, Pistons), so I expect a good game.

I expect us to come out after halftime and put the Kings away. Letting the weak teams keep up with us and really starting to get old.

our bench let up the lead we had in the 1st quarter.

KMartin is on fire like he was the last time we played them at home.

Dirk and Devin need more touches, its obvious that Josh hasn't found his shooting touch yet and also way too many turnovers, esp Damp and Terry.

But you have give credit when is due IMO. Kings are playing w/o 3 legit starters (Bibby/Artest/SAR) and they are keeping up with the Mavs...

I like the fact that over 36% of our minutes are being played by the bench.

Some lineups wer even Barea/Terry/George/Bass/Juwan which included 3 2nd stringers and 2 3rd stringers.

We don't have too. We have been playing 3rd stringers. In fact Stack sat out to let Barea dress.

Kings have impressive victories at home w/o Bibby and Artest and Martin always lights us up so they have been impressive given what they've had to work with.

Mavs need to play sharper

Interior defense is killing us... This is the inconsistency of the Mavs big men on full display tonight

Has to be the worst lineup the Mavs have ever put in- Diop/ Bass/ George/ Terry/ Barea

Didn't we have Juwan Howard in there for awhile too during the 2nd quarter when we gave up that lead?
Baffles me.
