Yup.
Two #1 seeds.
Two one and dones.
Two big upsets.
A Hockey Team no one cares about.
A Baseball team that has some of the stupidest management in baseball.
Yup.
We're Dallas

The loss falls completely on the shoulders of Jason Garrett and the offensive line. Jason, how many Marion Barber runs up the middle for 2 yards do you have to do before you realize it isnt working?... This is a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) thread though, the Mavs got screwed by the refs in the Finals, and Golden State just matches up better than anyone against us, it was destiny, not a "choke".

Nope Seattle still has Dallas beat by a mile! When your biggest championship is a WNBA one than you got issues. However if you want to give Dallas that moniker Soser go ahead just as long as we all know that Houston is still Toilet city than everything is fine!

Well, I won money on the Cowboy game. We got lucky beating the Giants twice in the regular season, lucky we beat the Packers and plain out lucky to win several of those games. The Cowboys were over-rated this year and not worthy of the #1 seed. To beat NY 3 times in one year is asking too much. I was expecting a loss. Even if TO and Crayton did catch all of those passes, we would have lost to the Packers.

how exactly did we get lucky in the 1st 2 giants game and the packer game?

I don't expect you (a Cowboy fan) to like my statement, but it doesn't make it any less true. Cowboys way over achieved this season. Our offensive line gelled well, but definatly outproduced what they should have been doing. Romo threw many close calls. Some cost us the games, some went the other way. TO, well, he still can't catch passes. Glen, will never have another good season in a Cowboy uniform. Roy Willimas still don't know that a horsecollar takle is not allowed. Flozel Adams still can break a career long habit of false starts. Our 2nd string RB was better that our 1st string RB and was not fixed until the playoffs. Our defense is terrible for a team that drafts almost struckly defense (but I like our corners). Beating a division rival that was 10-4 against the other teams 3 times in one season is very difficult. Our best players are our punter and our kicker. TO is still on our team. Wade is going to be fired and we all knew it before the season started.
Point being, we did not choke....we were not supposed to win to begin with. I don't know the betting line, but if Vegas had the Giants as the underdogs, they painfully mistaken.
And I don't see us getting better next year with another year of age to our recievers if we don't do anything to address our offensive line that probably will not play that well again with the same personnel AND a whole new group of defensive coaches to actually make our defense live up to potential.

I have come to expect the worst from my 2 favorite teams, the cowboys and mavs. I'm just too used to seeing us piss away big wins because of stupid things.

Maybe you should stick to basketball analysis.

DFN giving me same BB cred!
Edit: I only lost 1 football bet pre 1995 (of about 30 +/-). After parody in the NFL, I lost more often, but I's still banking on about 80% of my bets.

true, but at least we're not Dallas of 2000. remember those teams? Boys sucked. Mavs sucked. Rangers sucked. Stars were good tho, but hockey is 4th in this city.

No one hits 80% of their bets.

If I hear the ref and matchup problem excuses again, I'm gonna throw up.
A team that is capable of winning 67 regular season games should not be concerned about matchups. If Avery and the team are intimidated by a potential matchup problem, especially an 8th seed, they have no business calling themselves championship caliber.
That excuse is the biggest bull and if they really felt that way, they would have done something to correct it in the off-season.
This team simply choked because there is no true leadership. Cuban and Avery need to understand their problems in the past 2 PO series where internal instead of external.
