Let's jump on this. I love this guy's game. Face it, he could start at SG or come off the bench.

Me too. He is an excellent shooter, his carrier FG % is 0,491, and his 3pt % is 0,401. He had seasons when he shot 50+ % from the field, and he almost never attack the basket. Yeah, that's not necesseraly a good thing, but these numbers are shows how unique he is as a jumpshooter. He is an average defender and rebounder. We need a three-point threat, because Dirk 3pt shooting slump, and sometimes Terry is streaky too, not to mention Stack. Wally's stats are impressive even this year, count me in on this.

I like Wally's shot, but he can't defend anybody. He's also thin and weak and get pushed around inside. He's another Brent Barry.

No we don't.

1. We end up with a high quality backup PG that has a contrasting style to Devin's but is very capable overall... Watson > Terry from a pure PG perspective but Terry scores more.
2. Szczerbiak has a lot of game left and would come off the bench as Stackhouse did. Wally world also scores a lot more than Stack does these days. Szczerbiak > Stackhouse
3. Petro > Diop

Dude, we do well on this trade. We give up a lot, but we get a lot back. We had to give Diop in this trade because he's an expiring...

I like the thought. Watson lit up Devin in the last matchup that dallas won by 30

I dont see anything Seattle would want from us and we would want to give for Wally. I would love Watson as Devin's backup if Terry is traded

ITA with you. He would be the perfect compliment for Devin and would allow Devin to discover exactly who Devin is. Terry is a great player with an albatross for a contract and a hinderance to Devin's development. He doesn't mean to be, he just is.

If having Earl Watson here meant having Wally instead of Mike Miller, I would accept Wally world in a second.

The best part of this deal is waht we can get for the expiring Wally next year.
