For all of us looking for some movement. Here it is.

Sign the dotted line: That's what 10-year-old Cy Bergner did Friday morning, putting his name on a one-day contract with the Mavericks.

Bergner's mother bought him the "player for a day" package in the Mavericks' gift catalog, at a price of $20,000, and Friday was Cy's time to hang with his new teammates for the day.

He went through the morning shootaround, but not until he stopped by assistant general manager Keith Grant's office to sign a contract. Cy was informed that if he was overweight or late, he could be fined or traded.

He was neither.

Bergner also sat at the end of the Mavericks bench during the game against the Grizzlies and was announced in pregame introductions as the honorary sixth man.

He wore No. 11.

"He stole my number," said J.J. Barea, "but I'm OK with it."

GOTTA LOVE IT.

If he's sick, then its a great thing that happened. If he's just there because he's rich, then **** him.
