per wiretap....
guess the trade demands get louder and louder nearing the trde deadline...
could he be the SG we need?
i guess the question should be: would golden state deal with dallas and vice versa?

He's exactly the SG we need... if tanking games is our prerogative.

If you are looking for a 3 way where Hassell is our outing to Golden State and Pietrus lands in Sacramento, Memphis or Clippers.
We have no use for a rental demanding minutes that we would not even have Bird rights on (have to use MLE to resign if interested).

Pietrus would extend with any team he'd agree to be traded to. But anything the Warriors could get back is worth less than the rotation PT they're getting from Pietrus now. And there's no incentive for them to deal with Dallas.

No! In order for him to be traded, he would have to relenquish his bird rights. You can't "extend" someone you don't have rights on. You would have to use the MLE to resign him.
And he want to go to a team that will play him enough minutes to get a big contract. His ideal team right now would be a team not trying to build chemistry for the playoffs and have minutes at the 2. A team that may look to drop a decent player on GSW and using Pietrus themselves to cut salary. Who know, maybe you will see a Matt Barnes + Pieturs for Mike Miller trade.

Yes. In a minute. All it would take is trading Stack and Eddie Jones and Petrius taking their minutes. Perfect fit at the 2 spot. But he isn't even on the trade block unless Don Nelson wants a player on the Mavs. Can't see anyone he would want though. Maybe Bass?

even if GSW doesn't want Pietrus why would they make a move that would better a WC foe? he's going East if traded or he becomes a FA this summer. other than that he's with GSW.

This is probably the 10th time this thread has come up this season, and as much as I dont like either one of them, Id still take Bass over Pietrus.

I don't see Nellie doing ANY deals with Cuban unless he thinks it's a deal that will come back to embarrass Cuban.
