Has cuban been "Blacklisted" by players agents?

Has Cuban ruffled the feathers of agents and been blacklisted? It seems like any time there is some star available they ALWAYS go somewhere else other than Dallas. Agents are ALWAYS using cuban to jack up the value of their star by dangling them infront of Cuban then when they get the price high they send them somewhere else.

They say agents run Hollywood. I tend to believe the same thing about sports and especially the NBA. I'm imagining that Cuban has ruffled the feathers of agents just like he has everyone else he comes up against. He seems to always flout the rules or authority.

I had wondered about this before the Devean George debacle... but then to see this happen it really makes me wonder.

I have also wondered if this was because Dirk wasn't represented by an actual sports agent as well. Maybe Devean's agent is representing a player in New Jersey. And he knows that if Kidd leaves it will hurt his player in New Jersey and hurt Devean. Now if Dirk had an actual NBA agent representing him maybe one of these deals for a star swings to Dirk because that agent has an interest in seeing Dirk succeed.

This is all just a theory, something to think about.

It's a moronic theory. That's something else to think about.

Refs have a grudge against Cuban.

Stern has a grudge against Cuban.

Other NBA owners have a grudge against Cuban.

Why would agents be any different? I can easily see Cuban pulling the same kind of stuff with them.

Your response to me really illustrates how people can hold a grudge for doing things differently. How ironic.

Oh Fgump.. BTW.. how's Rich Rodriquez doing in Michigan these days?

 LMFAO

Why would agents hate Cuban? He gives out bigger contracts than anyone else. Wouldn't they love Cuban?

That is the equivalent to an Urban Legend...
Cuban has had the ability to outbid all others ONCE since signing Finley. He let Nash walk rather than "give out a bigger contract than anyone else."

^^ Nashty's agent doesn't like Cuban. In fact, Bill Duffy is a putz as far as I'm concerned.

How many ex Mavs employees have a huge grudge against Cuban, too?

Nellie, Nash, Finley. And these are guys who saved the Mavs franschise for him to mess up. Just imagine the stuff he pulls with agents.

Even fans of other teams have a grudge against Cuban.
