First we have the FO amidst all the Kidd rumors: "Absolutely no way" for a trade for Kidd, "we love this team" "step away from the crack dealer"

Then we have the trade. Then we have the George stall. And then we start George and play Diop when the Nets sat out Kidd, Allen and Wright. And then we continue to start George.

And then someone forgot to tell Stackhouse to not be so media happy. And now we're in a limbo.

If the trade doesn't fall through, great we've just created HUGE chemistry problems for this team. "Um hey Harris, we were just kidding all along, we believe you can lead this team..."

This is becoming such a pathetic mess...the FO needs to clean this **** up fast. This team either needs to stay put or move further, but Cuban and co need to stop jerking the chain around. First adamantly saying they were confident in the team and then pulling a trade showing otherwise and now trying to back away from the trade and go back to their original stance. WTF

Kidd aint coming... Ive given up on this trade... ark isnt going to sub in KVH and pay the luxury tax and George isnt going to approve of the trade cause he isnt going to be getting any more time in Jersey than he is here, plus they arent going to offer him an extension... We're stuck with him for now... Im happy to keep Harris, but im sure the Mavs will be looking elsewhere for a deal with all of this going on.

If nothing is going to happen do you seriously think this team will just bounce back and be all fine and dandy? The FO has shown that it doesn't believe in the team...

This has become a mess. Im sure the Mavs were confident George wouldn't be a stall. After all this guy was complaining about PT and wanting a trade just a week ago!!!!!!! And maybe he should realize the only reason why he's getting more PT is b/c we have so many players injured.

The Mavs locker room is going to be shot. You'll have guys that will despise Devean because they wanted Kidd.

i somehow doubt they'll hate him b/c of that. if we do this trade we still have no depth in the frontcourt which i think wouldve kept us from a title no matter how good kidd was, unless we got kurt thomas
