do you think with all this damn back and forth trade thing that is going on right now our FO is still looking at every opportunity to make this team better (i.e getting a respectable shooting guard)?
or are they too focused in getting the kidd-deal done?
I'd just love to see someone like miller in a mavs uni.

If we get Kidd, the focus will be on a BIG MAN, so you can probably throw that out the window.

With Josh/Dirk/JET, I'm fine with our SG being JET if our PG will be JET.

Our FO is incapable of fixing this team. Even if I'm wrong and Kidd is exactly what we need, they can't even complete a trade without it turning into a massive joke.

We are getting a shooting gaurd. I think Donnie Nelson likes Antoine Wright to play that position. If I am not mistakes Donnie liked Wright in the draft a couple years back. He is young,6-7, with a nice touch out past the 3 point arch. He was highly recruited in High School, and had some really nice numbers at A&M. He plays the same position as Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter in Jersey, so he did not get many minutes. He probably has a better mid range jumper than Eddie Jones does right now, and gives you a little more athleticism and youth at the two if he plays Eddie's role now. I bet Donnie resigns him and gives the kid a shot with us, especially with us giving away 2 first round picks, we could use a little youth. Remember, Antoine Wright was the 15th overall pick in the draft just two years back. He has to have something.

Get this trade done, and somehow get DJ Augustine in the draft and let him play behind Kidd for the next 3 years. We would have subbed Harris for Augustine, and still got Kidd. I think Augustine is a stud!!!!!

I agree (assuming that you mean Kidd as our PG instead of JET).
I've said it several times that there are about 4 players in the league that would fit in the backcourt with Terry and Kidd is one of them. Kobe, Wade, and LJ are the only others.
If Kidd comes to Dallas I could live with Terry as our SG.
If we don't make a trade for Kidd, Terry needs to go before Thursday.

It was just my Mav dream situation. Maybe Cuban will buy somebody's first round selection from a team over the cap. The Trailblazers did alot of that last year. I know it will probably not happen, but I can still dream about it.

No. Wright has never done anything in this league to say he is anything more than a average backup. He shooting 26% from the 3-point line this year and for his career, he doesnt do anything else really well, and besides the fact he is young and semi-atheltic, there is nothing special about him (Hmmm kina like Ager). Wright does nothing for this team.

Why not add JET and Trenton Hassell to original deal w/ KVH in Devean George's place and we get Kidd and Carter?

If Stack returns thats even more depth and then bring back R. Terry or use the MLE to add some depth. Heck make the other trade for Wright and there you go.
