Post#1 » by KitKatBars » Sun Feb 17, 2008 2:28 am

Say you do this trade- http://realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=762654

Would you be willing to make this deal?

Curry, Randolph, Crawford, and Jeffries for a sign and trade of KVH along with D. George, JJ Barea, and Reyshawn Terry.

Diop/Curry
Dirk/Randolph/Bass
Josh Howard/Juwan Howard/Jeffries
Jamal Crawford/Eddie Jones/Hassel
Jason Kidd/Jason Terry
Marbury on playing the role of a PG, "It's been kinda of tough, but it's an adjustment...I haven't been playing as aggressive as I normally play on the basketball court and thats just from trying to get everybody involved and into the game."

In other words: Would you please take all the crap off our roster?

No. It's not even possible to sign KVH for enough money to match that.

If you have a players bird rights, you can sign him to any amount of money. MJ was given a 30 million dollar contract for one year I believe.

this trade is so unrealistic that its probably not worth commenting on, but....

i like how everyone is quick to say what the Knicks would give up is 'crap' and basically say we'd rather have our 'crap' instead (George, JJB, RT).

I'd do this trade in a second if the mofos involved came with a team first attitude and accepted being on the bench. We'd win easily. I know everyone will say blah blah blah defense blah blah blah but it would be the same whether you have those other guys or not. Plus, our offense would be unbelievable. We'd match up wiht all the small ball clubs and have legitimate inside scoring. Crawford, though not a good % shooter, is a good rebound, assits, steals, 3 pts kinda PG/SG.

Anyways, considering the guy who propsed this has us having Kidd in the lineup, this whole thing is a waste.

I'd deal with Randolph and maybe Crawford, everyone else no thanks.

And ew, someone likes Eddy Curry? I thought he was universally unliked.

I have been very skeptical about Cuban being quoted that he will not pay additional lux tax with KVH signing. This is the extreme. Mavs would have to be much more desperate than they are now to pull off this stupid move. And I guarantee that Goerge would Veto a trade to play for Isiah.

My apologizes to the board, whether or not you like the trade I didn't mean to waste your time.
