Mo Ager Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by your_dallas_mavericks » Mon Feb 18, 2008 2:35 am

Can you feel the love folks? Mo Ager, the failed 1st round choice out of Michigan State is gone. Do you remember when Ager won the game for us... er... nah wait he never did that... Oh how about when he was named NBDL All-Star-Game MVP... er... Nah that was Pops... Well what did Ager do? Outside of take Nash's old number, not a damn thing... Oh well, don't let Avery's doghouse door hit you where the sun don't shine LOL!

Buh BYE Ager!
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

Question:

What do you rate Ager's chances in Jersey? 0 for no chance - 10 for superstar status.

I rate him a 3.5 - He will see action, come off the bench, but do little more than that. The most I see him averaging is 4 pts/gm. He's a bust, pure and simple.

He'll have fun carrying VC's bag around...
10:20 (pm, 6/29/06) The Mavs take Maurice Ager at No. 28... Ager walks up to the stage in a triple-breasted, oversized beige suit, goes to shake hands with Stern and immediately gets whistled for a foul on Dwyane Wade.

Hey Teff, give us a break! Carrying VC's bag is a lot more responsibility than he had here. The man will be on his way...

The funny thing is some of yall expect Antoine Wright to be an addition to the team but he's never shown that he is any better than Ager.

If Ager would just be a slasher/defender than he might have a place in this league if not than just another high 20's 1st rounder that did'nt make it.

He's shown a hell of a lot more than Ager. All you have to do is look at the stats. Many NJ fans consider him one of their better perimeter defenders too.

Ager PER: -4.3
Wright PER: 8.4
