Kidd Officially a Mav, Let's Move On

Post#1 » by arkuo » Wed Feb 20, 2008 10:23 am

just as we all know, the kidd deal is officially done.. however, looking at the consensus thread on this deal, mav fans on this board are pretty split up... either they feel that we gave too much (which i agree) or they just simply hate kidd....

either way, we are all mav fans here and with a few games left before the playoffs, let's just see what kidd can do for our team... it's a bit too late to cry over spilled milk, if you know what i mean... its not like we have the power to stop that trade...

for the harris lovers and the kidd lovers, the management has made a choice between harris and kidd.. it's about time we did too...

here's to the mavericks winning it all!

maybe some of them like harris, ager, diop, hassell or KVH.. maybe some of them dont even like giving 2 draft picks and cash away.. or maybe some are just plain kidd haters...

I agree let's move on. Let's stand with our Mavs as they make a championship run!

Go Mavs 2008 NBA Champs
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

yeah, let's move on, the kvh-area is now officialy over. i still can't believe why the nets gave up kidd just to get kvh. i don't think he can be their key to playoff-success...

One more caveat: we all had a "wait-for-the-playoffs" mentality when judging this team before. With Kidd, we should have the same type of attitude, because chemistry will likely be an issue early, and it may look ugly for awhile. So don't expect the team to come out with guns blazing right off the bat. Give it a little time for this thing to come together.
