Hey guys, I was curious how much input Mark Cuban puts into what happens in the basketball operations of the Mavericks. It would appear like a lot, being that he is such a personalble person. But he also makes great buisness decisions, so does he leave all the basketball stuff to the GM, and just pamper the players with everything else?

I only ask because our owner runs everything, and well, you will have more wins this season than we will have in 2 years combined.

Cuban is involved. He is more of an idea guy, and Donnie Nelson runs down the traps of trades.

You are telling me that Sen Herb Kohl is involved in day to day operations while serving the state as a US Senator? I do not know how that is possible.

I think our front office, is a 4 headed monster (Mark Cuban, Donnie Nelson, Avery Johnson, Dirk Nowitzki) with a whole bunch of nobodies (as it relates to decision making) below them.

Don't forget Keith Grant. His input is invaluable.

Mark has some sort of input on everything that happens... Just think of him as a Jerry Jones clone

I wouldn't compare Mark to Jerry. Mark will have ideas, but if he's told it's a bad one then he's not going to force it. Jerry on the other hand thinks he knows more than his consultants, so if someone tells him not to do something he chalks it up to them not knowing as much as him.

anything that gets done has to be run by him first. he veto's a bunch of trades, and told our coach early in the season he has to scrap the triangle offense.
