This has been a very entertaining 1st quarter. Our defense (yes that means Terry too) has been real active tonight. It is fun to watch Dampier operate. It is nice to see Dirk having fun (passing & hitting shots). Kidd may not be the sole reason on the floor, but he has been the catalyst for this team's emotional play, better passing by other players and to my surprise, he has been as good if not better than Harris on the defensive end. Whether that is the teams we are playing, or "re-energized Kidd", I don't know, but I am liking it thus far.

This whole team is running great with Kidd at the point... Everyone is finding the open guy. I hope we get to see Antoine Wright tonight, I still would like to see what this kids got.

Henri,

You must not know what to look for while watching a strong point guard run a team.

Game ball has got to go to Dampier.

Dirk's block in the 1st i thought was Dampier's but they never showed a replay. Damp's 3rd and 5th foul could have gone either way block/foul. Despite that, 16 reb, 7 blks, 6 pts, 1 stl, 1 ast.

Here's to looking forward to more games like that from Dampier.

SLOPPY GAME for everyone, too many TOs. Got careless with our early lead, I remember a sequence where Damp and Josh both weren't paying attention to a pass.

Bench sucked, Bass is in a funk. Josh mediocre. Dirk good. Rest OK. Need work, especially our bench...can't hold a lead ever.

Damp has really been playing great. It's nice to see him step up after being challenged by the departure of Diop and the addition of Kidd.

Hopefully it lasts awhile.

Ok had my flight delayed over 7 hours today and wasn't able to get the gamethread up. BUT I'm back and so are my threads.

And speaking of threads my delay was in fact in Dallas and I was able to get to the AAC's fan shop and pickup a J. Kidd jersey t-shirt.

I'm absolutely amazed at how quickly this team is coming together. A little turnover happy right now but you KNOW that will get better as they play together more.

Overall, I was very happy with the performance tonight. Josh is slowly starting to get a groove back.

Josh was 6-19. Was good (making jumpers) the first half, and didn't really score much the 2nd half (what else is new). I'd say he's getting a little better.

Oh, and good to see Dirk with his 3 point shot back! 3-3 tonight from beyond the arc, and 2-3 last game. Hopefully it lasts.
