Harris reborn

I'm watching the Nets game right now. It looks like he's being given more freedom to run the team and he's enjoying it. Just knocked a wide-open three pointer after faking a pass, a hand-off to Diop for a 10-footer, and scored off a series of vintage Devin Harris aggressive drives to the basket.

its his first game and i like him a lot already. I though he cant shoot? He hit 3 threes one of them was from like 5 feet behind the 3 pt line and he hasnt missed yet. 6/6 with 3 threes in just 9 minutes..

I know Kidd has been great for you guys so far but Harris seems promising.

He can't in the sense that it's spotty but just like players of that archetype they have games when they're completely unconscious. But who knows, maybe this is his official return to that slash and shoot threat that he used to be as a Badger.

Yeah, it's a great deal for both teams. Screw the media. We needed a true floor general to make plays and you needed the best young prospect available.

edit - haha Diop is like Dirk out there, knocking down 10/15-footers

i dont remember the last time i saw the nets playing this well.

DDV wrote:i was never a huge harirs fan but its obvious from this first half that he was held back by avery because all he was allowed to do was dump the ball off as they ran isos

MrDollarBills wrote:I don't care what happens in this game, Devin Harris has already injected life into this team that that other guy hasn't done in about two years. Everyone whose mad about him being traded, tough cookies...the past is over, the present and future is NOW!!!

harris has a chip on is shoulder... has a ton of people to prove wrong... he would probably reach his potential faster on the nets rather than being the 4th option on the mavs while avery stunts his growth by running isos all the time..

Good for him. Nice lob pass to VC for a dunk.. Amazing what happens when you have slashers not jumpshooters.

21 points, 5 assits on 7-13 shootiing, including 3-5 from the arc.
Go Devin, on your road to all-star. You can at least get pass the ballhog D-Wade in the All Eastern lineup.

Devin Harris leads the nets passed Utah Jazz and Deron Williams.

He's got 19pts, 12asts, 8rebs. He held Deron to 3-11 shooting, 14pts.
