The Seattle SuperSonics have waived forward Ira Newble. Newble was acquired by the Sonics in a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Feb. 21. He logged 17 minutes in two games for Seattle. [READ]

I suspect Newble is any better than Devean George. Give me Reggie Miller please. I enjoy much of his heartbreaking 3s and unbelievable go-to moves. If Malone do comeback, I think he would consider. He's the 4th quarter guy while Josh Howard plays the first 3.

If we are ready for McInnis, I think we should consider Ruben Patterson as well.

Reggie Miller who has been retired for 3 years and is 42? Darren, unfortunately for you teams are assembled for all time. Malone is alder and has been retired for one more year than Miller.

You go thru this every year, and each year these geezers are one year older. Hence my Cousy, Russell, and KAJ references, once again.

Also, mavs are really not that appealing of a team to play for given the way that Cuban whines and Avery coaches right now. MAvs have never signed a significant FA.

Newble was waived by the Sonics. Anyone who is waived by freakin' Seattle shouldnt even be looked at by Dallas
