The Sacramento Bee -
Tyronn Lue, shipped to Sacramento in the Mike Bibby trade last month, has been released by the Kings, according to the Sacramento Bee.
"It was an amicable and equitable settlement," Andy Miller, Lue's agent, said. "I just appreciate the way (Kings basketball president) Geoff (Petrie) was willing to work with us under the circumstances."
Lue still has time to sign on with a team and remain playoff eligible.

No. I cant stand that guy ever since the media was all over his nuts when LA had him on Allen Iverson in the Finals

Lue > Barea, but I don't see the need for a non-Cassell like PG. Lue is not that mentally tough, so if we sign him, okay. If we don't, still okay.

Mavs interested in Lue
According to a league source, the Mavericks are in the mix for veteran point guard Tyronn Lue, who was waived by Sacramento on Friday.
The source said Denver and Phoenix are also interested in the 10th-year player out of Nebraska. Lue, who was acquired by the Kings in the trade that sent Mike Bibby to Atlanta, can sign with another team Tuesday and be eligible for the playoffs because he was waived by Friday

He played on the Rockets before. I can tell you that he is a shoot-first type of pg and too small to defend the bigger guards.

Lue played on the Hawks this season and last, and as a Hawks fan, I would recommend any contending team to look for help elsewhere. T Lue became infamous for dribbling out the shot clock and then forcing up a shot.
And 6 feet? He's closer to 5'9 than 6 feet and a huge defensive liability as a result.
He can knock down some clutch shots in crunch time and he's an excellent free throw shooter. Still, those two things just don't compensate for his weaknesses.

Lue is a terrible idea... Who is smoking weed?

After the loss, I think the management should begin to consider the raptist-stopper raptist RP to avoid us from being raped by raptist KB.

I agree. Patterson would be a better pickup than Lue.

Isn't it interesting how Eddie Jones went from starter to rarely used 3rd stringer? Who do you think gets left off the playoff roster?
I say Allen, Wright, and Jones.

Lue got the ring, didnt he? Iverson was the MVP that season, yes?
The guy will not be asked to do much. This is a slightly desperate move by a desperate team who got fleeced in a trade trying to go for it. It will take forever to fill the roster of the future.

why do people still act like picking up waivers means the Mavs are panicking or making a desperation move? Last I checked Lue >> Barea so if somethings there you take it. Last I checked we didn't sign Lue to be our starting PG. Our current bench gives us something once every blue moon.
