To be honest, Dirk should be suspended. That was a pretty hard foul to clothesline him and to slam him back like that. If Artest did this, he would of been ejected from the game. You guys should feel lucky that this is still under review and he's able to still play right now.

Actually, it's AK who should be suspended for undercuttung Dirk when he got him in the air.

Jerry sloan probably teaches his players to do that stuff. After all.. the Jazz are the ones with the dirty reputation.. NOT Dirk.

I also thought that Dirk should get a one game suspension and stated that on the GB. But Dirk =/= Artest. Its the weight of bad history Artest has to carry, Dirk is not responsible for any part of that.

And TMac was half-joking, he did acknowledge that the next game is Dallas-Houston. The wiretap is painting an one-sided picture.

LMAO neither one will be suspended, but can you imagine if AK47 was the one who did get suspended??? There would be a riot outside of David Sterns office

That makes more sense.

I was wondering why Tmac would even make a comment about this since it was a UTA-DAL game.

what Tmac wants Tmac gets. Dirk suspended one game without pay and it has been upgraded from a flagrant 1 to a flagrant 2.

that made me laugh.

did anyone notice tracy get old and fat this year? not at the start of the season, but after his injury this year.

he came back bloated in the face with this weird goatee. it was "turrible" like chuck says.

this years could have been the year to get out of the first round. too bad. only chance they have is if they play the nuggets in the first round.

he should have stayed in toronto back in 2000. he left and then vince of all ppl leads them out of the first round.

:nonono:

TBack officially fears Dirk and his disarm-AK move.

Did anyone doubt the Maverick (Cuban) hating NBA front office would suspend him? They take any possible opportunity to stick it to Mark Cuban.

It was no different when they suspended Jason Terry for swinging the back of his hand at Michael Finley after Finley hip checked his head into the ground. That was not even a punch as they tried to say it was. They wanted to stick it to Cuban and they thought that it would knock the Mavs out of the playoffs. And in fact it did cost us game 6 at home. I truly believe the Mavs would have won that game if Jason Terry had been playing. Fortunately the Mavs went into San Antonio and won game 7.

You have got to be kidding. If anything the nba was easy on the mavs. Dirk should of been thrown out of the game. He only got a 1 game suspension. Dirk should be out as long as AK is out. THat would be fair, if you intentionally hurt a player you are suspended as long as the hurting player is unable to play. Utah is not gonna have ak for games against phoenix and Denver. Utah needed you guys to beat Houston. Dirk was not pulled from the game because he doesnt have a bad boy rep.
Now with that said, I dont believe Dirk intentionally tried to hurt ak but he wanted to hard foul and lost control and way over did it. The suspension is justified.

I applaud Dirk for taking AK down to the floor. It shows that he's finally matured into a man. Couple years ago, I remember him kicking a chair like a little bitch when he lost a game during the finals against the Miami Heat.

"Oh wow, here's the quote in it's full context:

Quote:
"He should be (suspended)," McGrady said. "That was a pretty hard foul. Not only that, to slam a guy to the ground like that, it was a hard foul. It should have been a flagrant-2.

"Yeah, I will (be broken-hearted)," McGrady said with a broad smile. "I will. I want them to be at full strength.

"You see the smile, right?"

Why dont we read the whole article before bashing McGrady? He was asked a question and he made a JOKE!

Those two points dont belong in the same paragraph.

I don't mind the suspension. We can still beat the Toilets.
