Playoff Roster Watch

Damp (40 mins)
Dirk (40 mins) - Bass (16 mins)
JoHo (35 mins) - DG (15 mins)
Stack (24 mins) - JET (20 mins)
Kidd (40 mins)
Insurance: Lue, Magloire, Allen, Wright
Out of the roster: EJ, Juwan, JJB
It's too early to predict somebody is out of favor. Allen and Wright has the chance to do their demage. Lue can beat JET if he shows more consistency and clutchness.

I really wish there was a way we could add both EJ and Wright at our playoff roster but we're just too stacked. I'm more scared about Avery holding the backdoor open for Juwan to sneak in though.

George cannot be trusted to stay healthy. Better to play Wright at that spot. Allen proved to be a better backup at center last night so Bass needs to be limited to SF/PF. Lue and JJ split PT backing up Kidd. Defensive liability Terry needs to have his minutes cut. Wright might even crack starting rotation over Stack. Allen had 9 rebounds last night and a solid shot in close to the basket. Had an active body on D as well. Mags needs PT to see what we have the rust will take a while to knock off. His movement and size on the floor impressed just not happy with the results but the rest of the team wasn't helping him out and he was suffocated inside.

Wasn't it determened that the last 2 years, everyone on our team is automaticaly on your playoff roster if signed by the last game of the regular season? Each game you can alter the 12 who dresses, but all 15 are available to choose from?
And no Way Dampier plays a 40 min avg when he hasn't played a 40 min game all year.

Yeah, he is. In fact, Avery wants to use him 10-15 MPG.

Rules were change August 2006. Effective playoffs 2007.
http://www.cbc.ca/sports/story/2006/08/ ... eding.htmlFinally, the NBA decided to increase the playoff roster size from 13 to 15, with each team designating 12 active players and up to three inactive players before each game.

It's a big mistake to argue with me over the rules - I've done my homework.

Did anyone notice that in last nights game Bass got more minutes 28 than Josh 24 and Antoine Wright 22 got more minutes than Terry 17.
I think Avery is sending a message. Play better or you sit.

Bass actually had a great game last night... Usually I look for him to start 3-3 and then miss the next 5 but he actually played very nicely. I hope that keeps up. With that being said, I would say EJ, Barea, and Juwan are off the playoff roster, which would be for the best IMO

I agree with that: EJ, Barea, and Juwan should be off the playoff roster. But, we will see what Avery decides...

As much as I like Barea, but yeah ... playoff roster should include Lue, and definantly Wright at this point

In the Knicks game, I didn't see anything worth getting excited about from Wright. His defense and hustle is good to see, but he's a TO waiting to happen offensively. I'll have to see a lot more from him to believe he deserves time in the playoffs.

He is making moves in the paint instead of settling for jump shots, and hes playing alot better defense than Howard ...
