Who would you choose?

It's obvious that Barea and Jones will be left off the playoff roster barring unforseen injuries.

With Magloire seemingly out of shape, a turnover machine, 3 fouls in 3 minutes; do the Mavs put Juwan Howard on their playoff roster instead? At least Juwan can get down the court and cover the opposing big man. Yet, Magloire has the necessary size and girth to cover the Shaq's of the world.

What would you do at this point in the season? Who would you choose to be on the playoff roster?

I picked Juwan just because I haven't seen enough of Magloire to make a final conclusion. All I know is that he's gotten into foul trouble againt the bench of opposing team.

I picked Mags. I have faith in him, he has like 4 weeks left to get into the right shape and I think our coaching-staff will do a good enough job on him to make it on the playoff-roster.

How many "playoff roster" threads are we going to have before people realize that our playoff roster is 15 and we don't have to decide who dresses until before the game?

OK 2007, it's a who dresses thread between Juwan and Jamaal. It's a 'will he be ready for the playoffs' thread. C'mon 2007, this has relevance especially due to last night's game...

Okay, "assuming" everyone is healthy, the next step to to assign our opponent and their injury status of their centers.

Not that either one will be effective in the playoffs anyways, but I would say Magloire will dress just because he is a bigger body and if anything, 6 more fouls.

I agree...there is absolutely no reason to dress Juwan unless 4 of our PFs go down to injury. And why are we carrying virtually 5 PFs on this roster and only 2 centers?

Mags still has about a month to get into shape but he has a lot of concrete to knock off those feet over that period. That guy is horribly out of shape for this time of the season. But I do like his hands and aggression when going to the basket.
