Good lord, the guy is not a good passer Avery. Come to think of it you are not good at drawing up plays. Work on that too.

I've always wondered if you are the real Bob Ortegal or an imposter.

He's the real deal and takes out his frustrations on the RealGM Mavs Board so he can maintain his homely appearance on the post game show

ive thought of the perfect play for this team or any team
put dirk at the high post at the corner of either ft line, have kidd at the top of the key you put damp or bass and whoever else you want setting the pick with him down low across the court from dirk. then you put terry or stack or howard standing at the 3 pt. line.
so for those confused you have dirk high post kidd at the top of the 3 pt. line and 2 guys down on the blocks opposite of dirk and lets say terry at the 3 pt. line in the corner oposite of dirk. so dirk and kidd are playing isolation ball. you then run terry on a double pick from damp and i guess howard from one 3 pt. line to the other side, either for an easy jumpshot or the other 3 pt. line in the corner, then you have howard pop up to the top of the key. and damp under the basket.
this in turn gives dirk plenty of options take his fadeaway shot, pass to an open terry or kidd if someone decides to double or look for howard or lastly damp under the basket.
anyone not confused by reading that, i just think that having terry running off a double pick will get him some open looks.

Usually the one inbounding gets the ball back, so you'd prefer a good shooter. In this case, it was obviously drawn up for Dirk and the Lakers knew that so you wanted a good passer. Josh was the worst possible choice and sure enough, he throws a crappy pass towards Dirk's ankles. LOL, Avery's decision making is comical
Realy the game was lost when Avery decided not to play Damp late in the 4th, giving up crucial offensive rebounds to the Lakers. Just like last game. Yay, Avery.

Not only was Josh inbounding it, but Terry was setting the pick on Odom.

Just my opinion, but I think you guys should've had Kidd inbound, considering how good a passer he is and how poor a scorer he is.

When you select players to pass from out of bounds, its always good to use tall players, forwards mostly, because they can see over who is guarding them better. That is why Avery chose Josh. Although I would have chosen Stack myself. Josh isn't exactly a great passer, but Stack is good. But you can't use Kidd.
